Because Gary needed a couple of extra things to fix the cold water input valve and pipe, we thought he would need to charge more; instead, he kept his estimate the same and did the job anyway. It looks great and works exactly as it should. He did a very clean and smooth job installing our new water heater, and he put my wife's mind at ease concerning the whole project (I was out of town at a conference). This entire process, from my initial call to his finishing the installation, was quick, efficient, and professionally accomplished. We recommend Gary Zerwer for anyone who wants their plumbing done right for a good price and is concerned about having someone knowledgeable do the work. Gary fits the bill in all particulars. It seemed as if som of he workers weren't as knowledgable about the product, since they didn't have answers for questions I had. The first night after it was finished, we had a large rainfall. The basement is dry and with the dehumidifier running, I no longer smell mold. We looked in he drain ports and noticed water running the opposite direction of he sumps. Regardless, the basement is dry and water stayed out! We're glad we did it as the end result is a dry basement. However, there were issues we weren't happy with as stated above. When I got hold of somebody, they would say that they would look into it but would never get back to me. Their quality of work was mediocre. They thought that the spout on the bathtub had come out. They got a shorter one. So, they said that they would cut that out and put a longer one so that the water ran right down into the drain rather than down the side of the bathtub. The plaster job that they did behind the radiator was not good as it kept falling off. They were little things and were not real bad but not good either. I was not happy. My wife called to get an estimate for the repairs. Someone showed up and stated that it was not possible without cutting into the wall. Did not give an estimate for the price to cut into the wall. Decided not to proceed as could not even give a price for the next step in the process. Person was on the proerty for 5-10 minutes. Never took out a tool or touched a pipe. Received a bill for $90. Called to discuss and told I had to speak to the owner. Owner called back and stated my wife had made the mistake because she had told the receptionist she needed a leak found. Not true. Asked why we were not told of the charge for someone just to show up. Stated that is how they do business. I asked why my wife was not asked to sign a work order - owner stated they don't do that. Asked the owner for an adjustment because no work was performed, no estimate was given, basically we were told what we already knew. Owner offer $5 dollars off. Stated we had a different company come out and they had charged nothing. Offered to pay $45 and split the difference. Owner laughed at suggestion. He stated that my wife should have known to not ask for a plumber. How was my wife supposed to know this? I will never do business with them again, as we were never told about a minimum service charge, or given the opportunity to forgo the appointment. I am out $90 and the pipe still leaks. Owner was very condescending and unwilling to discuss options or arrangement. Plumber - I guess - don't know if he was actually a plumber wa sokay. Can't rate his work because he did no work. If you want to pay for the privilege of meeting someone from this comapnay then hire them. If you want an honest, fair, or respectful interaction - hire someone else."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/il/peoria/jc-dillon-plumbing-reviews-8184916.htm"},"position":7}]}

They need to explain a little more about what electrical companies mark and if the homeowner knows of anything else electrical added. When they hit my drain field pipes, they were going to cover it up instead of discussing issues with the homeowner about repairing it properly. If an issue...

FAQs for french drain service projects in Bellevue, IL
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
The cost to install a drain pipe is $600 on average, but the total can range between $150 and $2,000. Some cost factors that influence your project price include the type of drain, the area’s accessibility, the proximity of existing drain lines, and whether you’re installing a new drain or replacing an old one. Replacing the p-trap or s-trap under a single fixture will usually cost around $150, while replacing a main drain pipe can cost well over $2,000.
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

We highly recommend leaving the work of replacing drain pipes to a professional plumber. Drain pipes are a key part of your plumbing system, and making mistakes during the installation or even using the wrong size pipes for your specific fixture can lead to an elevated risk of leaks and clogs. Additionally, drain pipes prevent harmful sewer gas from entering your home, so hiring a professional plumber is essential to keeping the risk of leaks and clogs low and avoid reducing your indoor air quality.
