Besides the poor quality work the typical start day was 9-10AM so don't work with them unless you don't have a job or someone is able to take 1/2 a day off.
Have reached out to have toilet fixed, response was "we'll schedule someone when available" which took three weeks (all the while sewage leaked into the house at every toilet flush (we stopped using the toilet).
Also struggled w/ 3rd party financing; Bathrooms+ provided contradictory instructions that the lender did; ended up paying final installment in cash because I was being pressured for final payment even though the job wasn't complete.

Worst customer service I ever had. It took 8 months for our kitchen cabinet re facing to be completed - we were promised work to be done in 8 to 10 weeks. We were promised a sample door in 2 weeks - it took 8 weeks to get it and then it was wrong color. When they came for 1st installation, they were missing one door and all the hardware, the valance was wrong, 2 doors had the wrong glass in them and 15 doors were the wrong tint or had a bad finish. We drove 45 miles to review each defective door and leave a note on them as to what was wrong. When the doors were corrected we drove back 45 miles to inspect the work - one door was still flawed. We unpacked entire kitchen January 16th for 1st installation which didn't occur - actual installation finished April17th - we lived with empty cabinets/drawers for 3 months. Company was very unresponsive and reactive - not proactive. Never heard a sorry or admission that they did anything wrong until work was completed and we withheld final payment. Very poor communications and accountability. Actual work was good - installers did nice work once they got here. Contractor gave us $200 discount on $8 K job for our troubles.
"We have contacted Angies List as our company does not have a customer with this name."
"When we are installing the home owners product we are only as good the materials that are provided to us. This is exactly why we dont install homeowners items as things never go as planned."
I paid my deposit in January and it took months before the job was scheduled. There were multiple delays in getting the job started. They didn't return my phone calls and then they were on vacation, etc. I chose them because I liked the idea that they would complete it in a couple of days. Unfortunately they didn't do so. I had a number of issues which Michael blew off and didn't seem to care. They used a non-paintable caulk around the outside of the shower stall so it is impossible to cover the old paint under the clear caulk. What were they thinking? Michael told me I should have painted before it was installed. So apparently you can never change your wall color after they do a job. Then they installed a sink with a damaged bowl. It took two months before they came back to repair it.
The employees who did the work were professional, but I would not say the same about the owner, Michael. For the price I believe they should have completed the job to my satisfaction. I would not recommend the company.
"Hello- First of all thank you for allowing us to complete your bathroom. Sometimes people like to exaggerate so I have pulled the file and found some of the information here to be false. So I would like to clarify that 12/17/2012 gave the initial estimate 1/4/2013 Customer signed there contract 1/28/2013 Notified customer of the install date 10:38 am and she was OK with that (so it didn't take months to get the job scheduled) 4/2/2013-4/4/2013 Installed the bathroom 4/5/2013 Customer called and said something needs attention 4/8/2013 Sent a technician back to the house to make the corrections requested by customer 4/9/2013 Customer notified us she wasn't happy with counter top so we had it remade 5/21/2013 Installed the new counter top and all was well We did a good job for her and did everything we could to make sure she was happy. We have went back to the house every time she has said she wasn't happy with something or didn't like something. A good company stands behind there work and that's what we have done. So if there is something your not happy with please feel free to call out office 309-693-8827"
"It was a pleasure working in your home. We really appreciate your business. Its great people like you that continue to push Bathrooms Plus to grow and employ hard working individuals to continue to be the leader in the bath and kitchen remodeling in the area. Thanks again for your business and we look forward to servicing any of your remodeling needs in the future. Thanks Mike"
Explained the process, review the operation once it was completed. Completely cleaned the work area.
Left on time. The service person was professional. We got the promised merchandise and service for the agreed-on price.
I would do it again and would recommend Bathrooms Plus to friends and family.
"Thank you again for the opportunity we had to work for you and your family. - Mike Troesser"
"Thank you for the opportunity Member to work for you! Not really sure what the issue was with me besides the one thing I recall is that you wanted your job to start a week after you signed the contract and we didn't have your materials yet. I explained that to you at your home at the time of signing your contract. I apologize if I wasn't clear enough but we have since changed our policy so there isn't a misunderstanding from either party. We tell most customers with a job that size we are about 4-8 weeks out. So if that is the reason your upset I am sorry but our company doesn't start projects until we have all the materials. If we started prior to having the materials we would be like a lot of companies out there that are on the job for 6 month's. At this point the customer is upset and we care about the quality of our work and finishing in a timely manner. So we are thankful we had the opportunity to work for you and that we got our job done in the promised amount of time and sorry about the misunderstanding. Thank you Mike"
"Member thanks for the business as we enjoyed working for your family. Again its all the great customers like you who have made our company a success for over 10 years. I am glad to see there are still honest people in the world today who appreciate the good work ones company does. Thank you, Mike"
"Angie's List called this homeowner prodding them to talk about remodels they have had done. We have never heard from this home owner in over two years. So after seeing this we decided to call them. One the dollar amount they spent with our company is in accurate and the date we completed it is in accurate. So for Angie's list to start calling consumers seems a little suspicious. Are you really that desperate for business ?? I left it with the home owner to call me back so this matter can be resolved."
