"Iâ ve hired Your Home Improvement Company several times over the past few years. Windows and siding. Great products and craftsmanship. Great customer service as well! Couldnâ t be happier with this company!"
"Renewal by Andersen of Wyoming did an incredible job with installing windows in our home. Thank you to the team who did the install and to the company for creating these exceptional windows."
"From start to finish, my experience with this company was fantastic. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me through the selection process, and the installation team was prompt and courteous. My new windows have transformed the look of my home and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks again."
"Scott Harris is a real pro!!! We are dealing with a forced remodel that has been chaotic and we've been in a time crunch. Scott has been one of the few contractors that has been timely in responding to our questions and concerns. He's also well informed and has shown sensitivity to our situation. We feel a weight has lifted and we're confident in our window purchase. Thank you!"
"The lower sections of wood siding at various locations of our home needed replacement due to water damage. We also had TVE add some gutters in a few locations. We experienced scheduling difficulties and incorrect ordering with TVE. No communication on when the gutters would be installed. They just showed up. Then they dropped the trailer and left for about 4 hours. Couldn't get a hold of anyone that knew what was going on. Then they finally showed up again. They did, however, do a good job of installation. Initially we were told the exterior siding replacement would be done at the same time as the gutter additions. This didn't happen. Then we were told the install would happen when they install the windows. This did not happen. After several texts and phone calls, we did not hear back from TVE on when this work would be scheduled. Then they just showed up unscheduled. The installer informed us that the wrong quantity of panels was ordered and he could not finish the job, so he didn't start and just left. We ended up cancelling the work on the siding and going with another contractor. Kelly at TVE's apologized and was very professional. He informed me that they were very busy and were having scheduling issues. In response to this situation, he offered to install one of the exterior doors we were having them replace for free. The gesture was much appreciated and I appreciated the way they handled the matter even though my wife and I were very frustrated with the lack of communication, mis-ordering of materials, and scheduling difficulties."
"Everyone was very professional and friendly. The only thing was that somehow the initial windows that came in were too small. He had to re-order the windows which took another month to be installed. Once the new windows came in, they were fast and efficient. Despite the setback, Iâ m very happy with my new windows!"

Window Door Contractors questions, answered by experts
Professionals clean window screens the same way a homeowner can—by removing the screens and cleaning them with a sponge. A window cleaning pro may come with better equipment, like a high powered wet/dry vacuum or pressure washer to speed up the process and achieve a deeper clean.
The screen on many screen doors is held in place by screen spline. Screen spline is typically a thin vinyl tubing that fits into the groove of the door’s frame and holds the screen in place. To install the spline on a screen door, you’ll need a spline roller—a tool that presses the spline and screen into the door’s narrow groove. Note that old spline can crack and break, so replacing your screens is a good time to replace the spline, too.
You can add any type of window to a brick house, so long as the window has proper support. Windows with wider openings and windows in brick walls will need a lintel to support the extra weight above the window frame. A lintel is a support beam that distributes the weight from above evenly around the window.
The steps to replace a retractable screen can vary, but these are the general steps: First, remove the screen cover to expose the screen mechanism and remove the clip that holds the screen in place. Next, depress the end of the screen mechanism so it releases from the door frame. Take your new screen and fit one end into the frame. You may need to rotate the mechanism to engage the spring before inserting the other end into the frame. Finally, pull the screen down the length of the door’s opening and lock it in place with the clip.
Solar screens are low-maintenance but benefit from occasional cleaning with mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or pressure washing, as these can damage the mesh. Inspect screens annually for tears or loose frames to maintain performance. In dusty or coastal areas, more frequent cleaning may be necessary to prevent buildup.
