Sometimes when you go with the lowest bid, you "get what you pay for". But these guys were TOP NOTCH! I trusted to leave them at my house for several days to get out of their hair and to decrease the stress on my dogs. They were very respectful of my brand new floors. I found his prices were within my budget and allowed me to do this project that I thought was completely out of reach. I had a couple of areas where I was completely missing toe kicks, and pieces of the side of cabinets and an area where I kept getting pinched from an old fashion cutting board that I just wanted to be gone, Dean completely filled all of that in, in a very short period of time and charged very reasonably for the extra part of the painting project as well. "I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."
