The Lawn Ranger Landscaping LLC based in Boise, ID, 83704 is landscaper specializing in lawn fortification, weed control, landscaping maintenance, and design. Call us today! Lawn Mowing; Sprinkler System Installation; Affordable Landscaping Service; Garden Maintenance; Lawn Fortification; Snow removal; ice services

"I appreciated how quickly they reached out to me and got me on the schedule. They showed up and messaged when they said they would. Overall happy with the work done. I was not expecting to still have to clean up my RV parking/gravel area myself after the fact. I get that it's a clean up and haul away project but I still can barely see my white gravel underneath a big portion of it due to the hack job of the weeds. That part was disappointing or this would have been a 5 star review. "

"The provider, Dylan Franz, was about 45 minutes late showing up. He brought another man with him. I thought all was going well, til I stepped out to check on his progress. The roof beams of the gazebo were damaged, especially one beam. I told Dylan this wasn’t acceptable and asked him how he was going to make this right. He suggested reinforcing the beam with another board, and he would come back after I ordered a replacement beam and replace it. I didn’t know what else to do, so I agreed, and he proceeded with the assembly. He knocked on my door around 9:30 pm to inform me that all was done and to give him a call, and he’d help me repair and correct the damage. I paid him, along with a tip for him and his fellow worker. The gazebo looked complete to my untrained eye. The sight was cleaned up with no extra materials or pieces left in sight. The cardboard boxes that the kit came in were all gone, so it looked like it was completed. I was going through the manual for the gazebo a few days later to get the item number for the damaged beam when I noticed additional items that were supposed to be on the roof. I’ve ordered and paid for the missing items, and now I am facing finding another provider to correct and complete the gazebo assembly. I’m left feeling scammed and very dissatisfied with my experience."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Stumps can decay, spread rot, attract insects, and make it easier for fires to start in your yard, so when you remove a tree, you should also make plans to remove the stump. Stump removal costs an average of $360 depending on the size and method of removal. On that note, you should avoid burning out a stump on your own—not only can it start a dangerous fire, it may also be illegal in your area.

Rock salt or Epsom salt can damage and kill tree roots over several weeks and can even assist in removing the tree's stump. However, you need to drill holes or cut into the stump and surface tree roots to inject them properly with the salt. Repeat the process every two weeks until the roots visibly rot away.

Unless there’s some sort of rule in your community’s homeowners’ association that requires you to remove a stump, there’s no law that says you have to take it out. If you’re not wedded to the idea of removing it, there are plenty of ways to get creative with this tree remnant. Using the stump as the medium for a wood carving or turning it into a planter are just two examples of ways to repurpose a tree stump.

If major support roots are cut, the tree may become unstable. Many are located just below the soil’s surface. Even cutting roots that are less than one-half inch under or outside the edge of a tree’s canopy can cut off its water, causing it to decline, die, and eventually topple.

Using a truck to remove a bush falls into the category of “just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.” While it is possible to use a truck to pull out a bush, if you don’t have the right equipment, if you’re not familiar with attaching things to your vehicle correctly, or if you don’t have enough room, it’s a risky option. To prevent damage to your vehicle, it’s worth using tools made for the job of digging and cutting roots instead.
