"First a crew came to power wash then re-caulk everywhere. On the day of painting the team showed up and did a very professional and amazing job! They fixed all the damaged sidings. Miguel and the team did an outstanding job! I would highly recommend this operation."

"Jeremy was fantastic. Extremely professional, knowledgeable. He installed our Schlage keyless door locks, hung our tv's and also hooks for coats in laundry room. He came prepared with all tools and everything he did was top notch perfect. We will ask Jeremy again for his services. I would recommend him to anyone as he has a wide range of experience for any home tasks or needs. Thanks again Jeremy!!!!! You were great."

"My first remodel in my home and it went really well. Jon was very accommodating and willing to work within my budget, giving me a couple of different quotes of work they could do. Once the work and budget was decided on, it went very smoothly. Ben did the majority of the work and he was very kind, professional, and open about what tasks were happening that day. I liked that they cleaned as they worked especially since it was a small space and my only bathroom in the house. I would totally recommend them to my friends and family and will be using them again in the near future for upcoming projects."

"Russ is a true professional. He was punctual to our estimate appointment. He provided us with a detailed written estimate that included paint brand, number of coats, drywall repairs, etc. There was no guessing of what was included in the bid. Once he started the project, he provided daily written updates and the plan for the next day. Russ is neat and and his cut-in lines are impeccable. He takes pride in his work and has great attention to detail. He treated our home as if it were his own. I have absolutely no complaints and look forward to having him come back to paint our baseboards once they are installed."

"They were extremely careful with my furniture and floors. I have five ceiling fans (with lights) and because Stephan has an electrician as part of his team he was able to carefully take down and reinstall these large fans. They went out of their way to make the whole process easy and stress free for me.

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

One of the biggest downsides to peel-and-stick wallpaper is that it doesn't last as long as traditional wallpaper. Its lifespan depends on several factors, including the quality of the paper, proper wall preparation and application, and the room's conditions. As a general rule, peel-and-stick wallpaper can last for at least five years, but this can vary significantly. Budget products may only last about 3 years, while higher-quality products can stay up for 7 years or more in ideal conditions. Factors that can shorten its lifespan include high humidity (such as in a bathroom), dirty walls, and low-quality paper. If used on flooring, expect it to last only 1 to 3 years unless sealed. However, the shorter lifespan can be seen as a positive, making it a great choice for people who enjoy switching up their interiors more frequently.

When comparing peel-and-stick and traditional wallpaper, the better choice depends on your specific needs and space. Peel-and-stick wallpaper is more budget-friendly and easier to DIY install. On the other hand, traditional wallpaper lasts much longer and holds up better in a wider variety of spaces, including areas with moisture like kitchens and bathrooms.

Many types of wallpaper exist, from removable peel-and-stick options to more permanent options that involve pasting. You can also find wallpaper that you can paint over, wallpaper with a texture, and wallpaper made from various materials, such as vinyl. Some types of wallpaper are washable, which can be a great option for kitchens or if your household has small children.

The color of the paint, its opacity, and the depth of the texture on the paper all affect how many coats of paint you need to apply to paintable wallpaper. You'll need at least two coats of paint to ensure even coverage. Don’t be surprised if you need to apply three coats if the embossing is very deep or if you use a dark color.

Walls should be as smooth as possible before applying peel-and-stick wallpaper. Although you technically can apply wallpaper on textured walls, the peel-and-stick variety won’t last long without a clean, smooth surface for the adhesive to stick to. If you have textured walls, consult a pro about removing the textured finish before moving forward with wallpaper.
