Small jobs welcome

"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

"Lance along with Trevor and Brian did an amazing job painting the interior of our home. They are professional, courteous, happy, efficient, attentive to details, offered helpful advice, and so much more. Lance kept us informed each day so we knew what to expect and what the cost would be, and he stuck to that. We couldnâ t say enough good things about these men. We highly recommend them for all your painting needs!"

"This company is awesome! Ben came to inquire about what I needed done: kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, and computer room. He gave me an estimate about the cost. He indicated they had a color specialist who could Ben came to the house to give me an estimate. He said they had a color specialist who could come to the house and help with colors. Ben was not pushy just gave me what information I needed to complete the job. I was immediately impressed and picked this company for the job. I used the color specialist who was great, and most of the time there were three painters here to do the job! The painters did all the work and did a great job! They purchased the paint and covered what furniture that needed it. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again!"

Kitchen Cabinet Refacing questions, answered by experts

Refacing your kitchen cabinets can be a wise investment if you want to enhance the look of your kitchen or sell your home in a competitive market. Upgrading your kitchen and bathrooms, from simple cabinet remodels to full remodels, usually leads to a faster sale compared to homes with outdated looks. Even if you don’t plan to sell, though, the pride and satisfaction you’ll feel can make this project more than worthwhile.

While it’s possible to reface or refinish kitchen cabinets yourself, it requires substantial time, money, and sweat equity. In particular, cabinet refacing requires many tools and materials, costing you between $1,645 and $6,570, depending on what you already own. Besides that, this is a project that shows imperfections easily. If carpentry isn't your strong suit, hiring a cabinet professional is best to ensure high-quality results.

Yes, with sustainable materials and energy-efficient appliances to reduce environmental impact.

You should not clean cabinets with vinegar. While many homeowners think it is a natural cleaner, vinegar is a mild acid, not a degreaser. Since it does not cut through greasy grime, it won't effectively remove it from kitchen cabinets. For best results, use a degreasing cleaner designed for prep work, then rinse and dry thoroughly before sanding.

No, in most cases, you do not have to remove your countertops to reface cabinets. Since refacing primarily involves updating the doors, drawer fronts, and exterior surfaces, your existing countertops can usually stay right where they are, making the process quicker and less disruptive. However, if your counters prevent the access needed to remove doors and drawers, they may need to be temporarily removed. It's best to consult with a professional cabinet contractor to assess your specific kitchen layout during an estimate.
