Even then I was a little hesitant to hire, but I liked their plan making 4 smaller steps coming into my house compared to two 6” rise steps. I’m naive and didn’t realize all the separate parts that came with railings. He never charged more to assemble the railings. The bid for the job was under $400 for one contractor and $1,000 for another. I was still hesitant because I wondered if I was going to get what I paid for. Well, I couldn’t have been happier!
