It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

A home inspector is only required to give a copy of their report to the party who hired them. This means that only a seller would receive a copy of a pre-listing inspection report, while only the buyer receives a report for pre-purchase home inspections. If the anode rod is no longer protecting your tank, you’ll spot telltale signs when you turn on a faucet. A bad anode rod can cause discoloration in your water, a rotten egg smell, intermittent hot water, and air in the water lines. Since these are symptoms of sediment damage to your water heater, don’t wait for them to occur before checking on the anode rod. 

If you want to buy a home that has knob and tube wiring, you should get an inspection first. An electrical inspector can take a thorough look at the wiring and make sure that it's completely safe for your home and has no potential to cause fires or disrupt the overall wiring in your home.
