"Mario has a small family crew but comes fully loaded with equipment and experience. Trees were dropped methodically and with precision. They did a fantastic job on my large project (15 large oaks). They not only had a lot to do but they did it with care. He also disposed of the wood to furniture or firewood, none went to the dump. He respected my wishes and got the job done. Would highly recommend him and willing to be a referral."

"Drive way was compacted and over grown with grass, weeds, and allowing water into the garage. Had a hill on one side of the house lower against the foundation, getting water in basement. Needed a patio to replace the rotted deck and allow my dog run. Did a great job, hired to rejuvenate and gravel driveway which looks awesome, remove hill along side of house place dirt against house and leave a swell between property to not cause an issue for my neighbor, much dryer in the basement, removed what was left of my rotted deck to put in a patio sloped away from the house. Was too hot for me but they showed up and got everything done quicker than I thought it would be. Very happy I was able to hire them"

Small jobs welcome

"Terry Culbertson is a kind gentleman who is very efficient, hardworking, dependable, and professional! Even though today started out rainy, he hung in there and dodged the rain at times. Excellent work removing our tall bush/tree, raked and replaced the soil where the hole was. He submitted a very fair bid for my project."

Customers say: True professional

"It went well. It was a very large tree with a garage right next to it so dropping it had to be very precise. LT tree service dropped all large limbs and big chunks of the trunk very precisely and had the equipment to do it which a couple of others in the area did not have the boom length to get up that high. They do. Price was fair with the amount of work done."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

The costs vary from $250 to $5,000 per tree, depending on the size, complexity of the trimming, and labor.

While the fastest way to kill a tree is to simply cut it down, there are several other methods to choose from. You should hire a professional tree removal service to cut down a tree to ensure your personal and property safety. Some slower but effective options include treating or grinding the tree stump or using a basal bark treatment.

A tree branch should start to form roots in about three months. It can take about a year for a tree branch to develop roots strong enough to go in the ground. For best results, start several branches because, no matter how closely you follow instructions, they won’t all form roots. Compost any that aren’t thriving.

Generally, if your neighbor’s tree hangs over your yard, you can legally trim overhanging branches. Keep in mind that you cannot cross your property line to cut the trees, and if you damage the tree by trimming it, your neighbor could sue you. Depending on the type of tree and value, this could mean dishing out two to three times the value of the tree.

It’s worth noting that the specifics of this type of tree maintenance and the guidelines around it may vary by location. Do your research and, most importantly, consult with your neighbor.

Talking with a septic pro before planting trees near your tank is best to ensure the roots won’t interfere with your septic system. However, there is an easy way to figure out where to plant a tree—but you’ll need to know how tall it can get when it’s fully grown. For instance, if the tree can reach 50 feet, plant it at least 50 feet from your septic system.
