I like to finish the job right the first time so I don’t have to come make a fix later . Let me make your projects a check off on your to do list. Also able to repair fence put new fence up. Chainlink, wood picket . Let me know I’m here to help. Concrete replacement, sidewalks, drive ways. I look forward to speaking with you.

"Josh fixed our leak and replaced the dry rot. He was willing to stay late to make sure the project was complete. There was a few times that he wasn't able to be accountable for coming at the appointed time."

I will be showing my prices upfront to make things easier for us. * At Sam's Handywork LLC, I aim to provide top-notch service with a smooth customer journey. There's a minimum charge of $249 that's comes with perks and extras. If it's a quick fix for me and my efficient skills, I'd be happy to tackle a few extra small tasks while I'm there! This could be anything from mounting a second small TV to adjusting doors and windows for better weather sealing. I'm also happy to climb a tall ladder to fix some siding or change a few light bulbs. My goal is to make sure you feel like that minimum charge was totally worth it! The next time you use my services, the minimum project cost will be less. This is because you've already help to cover your portion of my expenses, like insurance and the advertising. With our clearly documented agreement and the main part of the project wrapped up, my rate continues at $100 per hour. This way, you can add as MANY tasks and projects as you want without needing a separate proposal. People sometimes have me working days or most of the week at this rate. My prices will not fit everyone's budget, and that's completely okay. If this works for you, visit my website and share your project details. If you decide to get a hold of me through this app, let me know that you've read this and prefer to hire me... as you will probably be contacted by many companies besides Sam's Handywork LLC.

I can do all sorts of basic trades/handyman work. A really full array of tools, a truck and trailer for hauling, and the know-how to do or learn most projects short of more involved plumbing and electrical. I've spent three seasons as a full-time landscaper and a good amount of time in the nursery industry as well, so I can do installation, design, that sort of thing.

Wall repair services FAQs

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.

On average, drywall installation costs $2,000, depending on the size, complexity, accessibility, and location of the job. The typical cost range is from about $400 to $6,000, which includes materials and labor. Additional cost factors include the thickness of the drywall, the shape and height of the room, and the level of finish. The level of finish ranges from only hanging the drywall to taping and mudding the seams between panels to painting the walls.

The average cost to apply a skip-trowel drywall texture to walls is $1.25 to $2.00 per square foot. Ceilings cost slightly more because of the increased difficulty of working overhead. Additional cost factors include any drywall repairs and removal of existing textures or wallpaper.

The cost to skim coat drywall is $1.15 to $1.35 per square foot. Most of the cost is labor, for the necessary skills to apply the skim coat with precision using high-quality tools. This is a job better left to the professionals for the best outcomes.

Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
