"I would like to sing the praises of Alan & Liz's landscaping company, Limitless Landscape. My daughter, Annalies, discovered them online and I am very happy that she did. I had front yard that was very much in need of large-scale repair including collapsing retaining walls on both sides of the driveway. From the beginning of the project, when my daughter & I were expressing what we wanted the vaguest of terms, Liz turned those vague ideas into a design and then a real working plan. Over the course of the project, we made some minor tweaks in the original plan; for those times, we sat down with Liz and Alan and ironed out what was possible and what wasn't. We had good luck with the weather and most days went smoothly with only a couple of rain days in a four-week fall project. With respect to the men who did the work itself, they were terrific. They were friendly. They were responsive when I would make occasional requests during the course of the project: for example, I want to save that old railroad tie but not that one...that type of request. Alan himself was frequently on-site helping/working too. I always felt absolutely secure with the honesty of these gentlemen working; that was important to me after a bad experience in a large window project a few years ago where a theft occurred from inside my house. That incident put me off contracted home repair projects for quite a while. Limitless Landscape has helped restore my confidence in contractors. So, I would heartily recommend Limitless Landscape. They will do a wonderful job for you! Oh and by the way, I'm am continuing to get compliments from the neighbors about my front yard and that makes me happy!"

"Drive way was compacted and over grown with grass, weeds, and allowing water into the garage. Had a hill on one side of the house lower against the foundation, getting water in basement. Needed a patio to replace the rotted deck and allow my dog run. Did a great job, hired to rejuvenate and gravel driveway which looks awesome, remove hill along side of house place dirt against house and leave a swell between property to not cause an issue for my neighbor, much dryer in the basement, removed what was left of my rotted deck to put in a patio sloped away from the house. Was too hot for me but they showed up and got everything done quicker than I thought it would be. Very happy I was able to hire them"

"Derek showed up at the appointed time and date to discuss our landscaping needs.  We informed him of our budget and told him he had free reign to suggest  some interesting ideas...we were mainly interested in having something that would make our yard stand apart from other houses in the neighborhood.  As promised, within 2 weeks of his initial consultation, we received via email a .PDF of the design plan, including the names of the proposed flowers and shrubs.  We were provided with a web address of where we could see pictures of the plants, as many were unfamiliar to us.  In our excitement over the plan, we decided to add some additional items...landscape lighting to the front and some landscaping around a maple tree and bird bath in our backyard.  We asked that the old retaining wall stones be re-purposed for the backyard to save on costs.  Derek readily replied yes to our changes and submitted a revised bid.  We approved the final plans and set a date to begin work. There was a few days rain delay, but of course that was not their fault. The crew that dismantled the old retaining wall were careful with the stones and constructed a nice border around our tree and birdbath.  They completed this project with some hostas around the tree and some some day lilies between the tree and birdbath.  It was finished with some cocoa brown mulch.  The leftover stones  were neatly stacked against our fence by the back gate.  The front yard plants, accent boulders, new retaining wall and lighting ended up to be beautiful!  The crew that arrived each day were courteous, professional and cleaned up the driveway and steps at the end of each day.  The person in charge of the plantings shared tips on how to care for the plants.  There were 3 smaller plants that did not hold up well in transfer from the nursery, due to the heat.  They watered and fertilized everything and told us to watch them.  If they did not perk up, they would be replaced.  We are so pleased with the results and spend all of our free time on the front porch enjoying the new yard!  We highly recommend Penton and would certainly contract with them again!

"I was very impressed with Robert and his crew. I received a quote very quickly after sending him a picture of the large pile of tree branches that needed to be removed from my back yard. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time and his crew cleaned it up in record time! They swept up after themselves and even offered to take some additional branches that weren't in the picture I had originally sent them for the quote. "We are incredibly please with the quality of concrete work done for our patio. The guys contracted to come out got the project done in less than 3 days. They were here before 7 am and worked hard. Even with the heavy machinery they used, they were very considerate and laid down boards to drive on, resulting in absolutely no damage to the yard. It turned out lovely. I do not feel as satisfied with the quality of work on the mulch beds. From a quick glance, the dark mulch and healthy plants look nice, but a good portion of the grass around the mulch beds was trampled down to solid dirt, the natural edging now looks like the mulch edge is just a bunch of dirt everywhere. When I water the plants in the beds, the mulch is thin enough around some plants that it is just solid mud (it is thicker in other areas). One of the beds installed was supposed to be a straight 3ft wide up to an A/C unit and get wider to be around it. They were unable to make a straight line in the edging and the bed goes from 3 ft to a quick 2ft and then around the A/C. It looks sloppy, not aesthetic. One of my popup drains was not installed to be flat with the ground, it's cover has been broken barely two weeks later. I had asked and payed for all the stumps and old bushes to be removed from the mulch bed, there have now been four stumps with green shoots I’ve noticed coming up through the mulch. Turns out they left them and just covered them with dirt and mulch. Also, the Red Dragon Red Maple tree that was put in is pretty, but for $300, I thought it would be taller than 4.5’ tall. I called the owner with my concerns before constructing this review, he did not have very good customer service. He dismissed all my concerns and said that it was to be expected with landscaping and construction. But, his own cement crew was able to show how little damage can be made by being considerate with heavy construction equipment. He said he would come out to look at the forgotten stumps in the mulch and was defensive about the popup drain that was damaged. He insisted that they were even with the ground surface. He did send someone out the following week to remove additional stumps…he removed one. $7084"
