"When I got back from vacation, I discovered that our AC was not working.  I called the first company in the phone book (Golden Rule) to come check things out.  The Tech from Golden Rule told me I needed a new AC unit.  I didnt argue because the unit is 22 years old, so I started getting quotes.  Three different companies came out before the Bell Brothers rep finally was able to come out. 
When the Bell Brothers Sales Rep came out to give me a quote on a new AC unit, he took a quick look at the old AC unit and said that he didnt think there was anything wrong with my existing unit.  He called up a tech to come out, and the tech said that the issue was with my furnace and not the AC unit.  The tech also told me that any decent tech couldve taken one look at my unit and noticed that there was no problem with it.  He said its old, but its still kicking strong.  He fixed my furnace issue and fixed a freon leak that he also noticed.  The Bell Brother tech then reloaded my freon tank and I had AC within two hours of the Sales Rep showing up.
The moral:  If you have a HVAC problem, Bell Brothers should be the 1st on your list to call.  Their sales rep and technician saved me $3000+ just because they knew what they were doing.  They are the most knowledgable in Des Moines."

"Scheduling was easy, they sent a text with tech name & picture ahead of time, and he arrived as scheduled and communicated. They communicated recommended upgrades without a pushy sales pitch. They also make you aware of anything needing immediate attention. They provide flat pricing upfront and honor those prices if you prefer to think it over before moving forward. Past experience, I know SL honor their $99 diagnosis fee no matter how long it takes, and if not fixed they return for free. They don't put you at the bottom of the list either. They return to fix the issue, even if they didn't initially cause the issue. Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it!
