Painting of Homes (interior & exterior) as well as Roofs. We also do Commercial Buildings. Power washing is included in Paint work. We have been in Business for 17 years now. We do Excellent neat work and we are very meticulous. We treat it as if it is our Home or Business and we like all of our work done Neat, Beautiful and in a timely manner. We have done work for alot of great Doctors in Hilo, their homes as well as their office buildings. We were told that we were hired because of our Trust Worthiness and Neat Work that was performed. We Love working closely with people as well as making their Homes or Businesses Beautiful.

"Joey is very professional, meticulous and pays attention to every detail. Our job was made much more complex as we stripped the cedar on the house structure to bare wood prior to painting/staining. As problems came up, Joey and I were quickly able to resolve them with no loss of time nor extension to the due date. The project completed on time and we are very pleased with the results. A special shout out to Joey’s wife Cindy who was incredibly supportive (and is an excellent cook). Joey and Cindy made us feel as though we were family. Yes, you can paint a chain-link fence, but you don’t want to use spray paint. With the spray method, you’ll be losing a majority of your product to the air, given the size of the gaps in chain-link fences. Instead, use a paintbrush for your fence posts and a paint roller for the wire.

Adding a second coat of stain to wood can even out the color to some extent, but it won't drastically alter the hue if the initial application is too light or too dark. It's more effective at enhancing the richness of the color rather than significantly changing it. Ensure the first coat is dry before applying the second.

Your tool of choice ultimately comes down to personal preference. Many DIYers prefer applying stain with a lint-free rag, but others stick with a paint brush or a roller. Wipe the stain and work it into the wood, working with and against the grain. If you’re applying multiple coats, allow the stain to dry for around four hours between coats.

Stain is meant to be absorbed by the porous wood, allowing some of the natural grain to show through. With that in mind, you don’t want to add more stain than the wood can absorb, as you risk covering up its natural markings. Generally, two coats is the maximum you should do, although very dense hardwoods may only be able to take a single coat.

Yes, you can waterproof any wood that has not already been treated. A good way to test this is to splash some water on it. If the water starts to bead up, the wood is treated and most likely doesn’t need another coating.
