"They brought our new unit out and swapped it with the existing unit. It would not run. I was told it was the thermostat, so I ran out and bought a new, programmable unit. He seemed unable to program the new thermostat, and the unit still would not run. It was then suggested that the wiring may be bad, and I was told it would be additional to do that. They were paid in full, although our unit still was not operational. I brought in someone else, who determined that it was wired incorrectly. They refused to stand behind their work and reimburse for the diagnostics and re-wiring."

Refinishing an appliance is often less expensive than buying a new appliance. But if your appliance is heavily dented, refinishing it won’t cover that damage. Also, for old appliances that aren’t in good working order, a coat of paint won’t help. It’s a safer long-term solution to replace old, faulty appliances
