We knew we would be needing some degree of repair on our cap and pan, but David informed me that we had been fitted with the wrong size pan the whole time we have lived here and the damage was much more extensive than we anticipated. We were quite frustrated that no previous chimney service company brought the issue to our attention before the damage was done, but David put together a fair and comprehensive proposal to fix the chimney.
