"We hired Cal to do a major remodel on our two bedroom condo. There are many positive things to say about Cal and his crew. Here are just a few. Cal's communication is first rate. This project was done while we were out of state and Cal communicated with us nearly on a daily basis. He didn't hesitate to offer ideas and often had more than one idea for a solution to sticky remodel problems. That said, he respected our input in every way. Cal was a great listener. If he was ever frustrated with his subs or us, we never knew it as he has a very calm disposition. He also has a good sense of humor which made working with him enjoyable. Even though this project took longer than expected due to COVID-19, Cal's attention to detail and high standards never faded. One of the things we heard many times throughout the process was "we'll make it right" and he always did. Cal went above and beyond what we expected from a contractor. Working on this project from a distance meant that we had to have things shipped and we often had other service providers scheduled at our home when we weren't there. Cal always found a way to get the packages into the condo and made himself or other employees available to open the condo to other service providers. We would not hesitate to use Xquzit Home Improvements in the future and we would HIGHLY recommend Cal to anyone in the area. He was fair and reasonable in the pricing. "Used Angi to find help on 1-10-2025. Of the six companies I requested estimates from, Alonsos was the only one that responded. It was the next day. We needed repair to the house due to a branch spearing the back of it. His quote was reasonable and he was willing to come on Monday. The repairs were finished in a short time. My son thought to ask about our upper deck railing and the front board that was bad on the lower deck. Again we were given a reasonable quote and the work was done that day. To my surprise he replaced all three sides of the lower deck and added shoring. For the upper deck he enclosed the corners and it looks amazing. I will definitely keep him on speed dial for future work."
