"Cedarwood Forest LLC did a substantial addition to my home from Nov 2024 until David quit our project and we had to take over in July 2025. While David told us our project would take 5 months, we came to see early on that was unrealistic. Things were chaotic and poorly done from the beginning and communication was terrible. There were multiple subcontractors for every trade. We had to stay on David to ensure many things were corrected. In the end, he left us an unfinished project and a number of unpaid subcontractors. We had to figure how to get an overflowing dumpster and disgusting port a potty picked up. Ive ended up with a nice addition but it came at insanely high cost financially and emotionally."

And this has persisted throughout planning and execution; they have initiated more contacts with us than we have with them—to inform us about what’s next, coordinate the activities of tradesmen with our lives, and ask more detailed questions about choices of equipment, supplies, etc., as each phase proceeds. (2) Expert, hard-working, trustworthy tradesmen and connections to suppliers. This is something that is absolutely essential to the experience of undergoing a remodel. Can you trust the expert skills of the tradesmen your contractor assembles and whose activities they coordinate? Are you comfortable with their presence in your home? Do they consistently deliver value while onsite? We have shared our home with the tradesmen enlisted by Dennis & Jean for several months, throughout phases 1, 2, and 3. We look forward to their arrival in our home, admire their skill, hard work, and dedication to doing things right, and are completely comfortable with having them in our home. Dennis & Jean also have longstanding relationships with many sources and suppliers, greatly streamlining the process of finding and selecting the right paint, flooring, equipment, etc. (3) Reasonable prices yielding exceptional value, with careful and thorough accounting. Dennis & Jean are sensitive to price and value, exacting in presenting options and prices, and careful and thorough in their accounting.
