"I have never in my entire life had to write a review like the one I am about to write right now. To begin with we had a concrete slab laid at the beginning of Aug. and all we needed was for it to be leveled. We reached out to Aquaguard and Bill set up a date and time to come out and do an evaluation and a quote. Bill stated that they could level the concrete slab with no problems and gave us a quote of an est. 6k. I know that no one in their right mind would pay 6k for a job that was guaranteed by one of their SHAREHOLDERS (Bill) knowing that there was no guarantee it could be done (which is what their stating now.) We had a deadline to have this job completed which couldn’t be met because it is now Oct. and still ongoing. Jerrod and another employee came out on 2 separate occasions and all we have received from this service is UNLEVELED concrete and EXCESSIVE CRACKS AND WAVES. Weeks later 2 managers came out and could clearly see my disappointment because I was literally in TEARS. They said that some jobs they can’t get leveled completely and that they don’t know why Bill would tell us they could and that that’s stated in their contract. He said he would reach out to the general manager to come to a resolution because at this point my concrete slab is just horrific and still not LEVELED by the least. Literally worst than when they started the work. Week later no resolution. I suffer with congested heart failure which I was diagnosed with last Nov.2024 and this is really beginning to take a toll on me. All I want is a DECENT resolution because this is clearly not the service I was expecting to receive and is clearly unacceptable."

My rental property is a little over 1,000 sq ft with a simple pitched roof. This company quoted me $23,000. Other companies for the same work have quoted $5,000 - $7,000. It is very disappointing when a company engages in overpricing. The owner rational was maybe the roofing materials company got the material cost wrong. If they are expert roofers, they should know this. When I pointed out other lower price quotes, he quickly got off the phone. Maybe because I am a female, he thought that I didn't know and that he take advantage of me by over charging."

About 2 hours later they come back, it took about 30 minutes to replace the light and switch. Total they were at my house for about 1 hour 50 minutes. Now look below at the cost, then I will explain how the price kept increasing. Cost for the diagnostic (troubleshoot) was $177.10 Cost to replace light was $189.75 Cost to replace switch was $63.71 Total for 1 hour 50 minutes of work, diagnostic and labor $430.56. Now I will explain how they kept adding on: Safety check and dispatch fee is waived if they do diagnostic for $177.10, they have you sign for diagnostic. After diagnostic it will be $189.75 extra to replace the light, they have you sign. I asked for a estimate at the beginning, but the estimate turned out to be as you go through the repair. Sure you can stop the repair at anytime, but Mr. Electric of Columbus is the only one that Home Advisor recommended. There should be more options on Home Advisor than this one. I will never use Mr. Electric again. It was a costly lesson and I will ensure that anyone looking for a electrician not to use this one."
