"They arrived late as they were scheduled to be at the house between 8:30 - 9:00, they showed at about 9:30. I asked for a call about ten minutes before arrival so that I could take my dogs out for their business. They did call, but it was only about 5 minutes before they arrived and I had to scramble to put the dogs back in the house. The work was acceptable, however I will now have to try to cover up the gravel that was spread over the drainage hose so that it does not look so rough. The gravel will run down the hill and I will have to install a small landscaping border so that it does not happen. They installed a block wall around the a/c condenser, but it is not flush. It sticks out about 1" on the corner."

"All went smoothly. They did have to come back out and redo the way one pipe was going to another with a coupler as opposed to tape but there was no issue in doing this. One thing I will add is that people need to check with their termite company before doing an encapsulation. This voided our lifetime warranty. State building code (I called our county's office) is supposed to leave 4 inches down from the concrete blocks with encapsulation so they can do a termite inspection to supply a warranty. They did not do this and the termite company wanted this to code to supply a temite warranty. Sundry had to come back out to remove some of the encapsulation and charged us the cost of doing this. The workmanship was good on both the trenching for removing water under the house and the encpaulation. The encapsulation just wasn't to code which cost us an extra $3000."

I hired AFS a year ago to add pier pins below one side of our basement wall and add a custom drain and pump system to the opposite wall. I liked their pricing better than other quotes, and they delivered on-time, on-budget, and were a pleasure to work with throughout all meetings. "I hired Shawn and company to clean up 5 acres in Scottsboro. The previous company came in stole my wood and left a disaster that caused flooding and slope damage. Shawn came in at a affordable price, cleared, resloped and planted and in less than a week and made it beautiful. This was a huge job since the previous company used a logging compay to come in and steal the wood. When we caught them it was too late but they left in a hurry and left droped trees and loggs everywhere. We had terrible wash out and property you could not even enjoy. Shawn came in and fixed it and called keeping in touch every day they were working and the men he sent to work were wonderful. Walter and his son were professional and extreamly friendly, I really missed them when they were done. We have hired him for more work. They are wonderful! I had two other companies come out (one company did not even bother to get back to me with an estimate). Each company had a different opinion of what needed to be done and BDry's procedure was the least invasive and made the most sense. The team who actually did the work was very courteous and stayed until the job was done - a 12 hour process. (That was one question I didn't think to ask - approximately how long would it take) They communicated with us throughout the day, for example they asked where we wanted the sump pump to drain, instead of just making the decision.
