"Rick and his employees showed up and completed the work as scheduled and in the promised time frame. The gates are extremely well-built, with a steel frame and were properly installed underneath some overhead power lines in an easement on the property. We had an issue with one of the gates breaking about 3 weeks after installation but a phone call yielded repair services and an upgrade, the very next day. Best of all, the repairs and upgrades were FREE! Highly recommend to anyone in the Middle Georgia area looking for any kind of work, especially fences."

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Regular cleaning, proper food storage, sealing entry points, and professional inspections help prevent infestations.

Pest control timelines depend on what services are being provided, size and type of infestation, and size of your home. Some inspections can take an hour or more, while preventative treatments only take 30 minutes to complete. Basic spaying for a problem like roaches or termites can take about an hour for small homes, but much longer for large properties and infestations. Consult your pest control pro for a time estimate based on your situation.

There’s little scientific evidence to suggest that homemade remedies to ward off wildlife are effective. But, often, when using them alongside other management techniques, it won’t do any harm to try. Suggestions include using urine-soaked kitty litter or sweat-soaked clothing items. Try applying them around your fence perimeters. Always read the instructions carefully for any commercially-bought repellents and opt for EPA-approved products. Multiple applications, especially after rain, are often necessary.

To make sure the removal process goes smoothly, try asking your pro the following questions:

  • Are you licensed and insured?

  • How much experience do you have with relocating beehives?

  • Do you remove the honey and honeycomb?

  • Do you relocate the bees alive?

  • Do you have any references from previous clients?

Rabbits have a penchant for plants, relishing herbs, veggies, fruits, and grasses. Common herbs like mint, basil, and cilantro are fair game for rabbits. In fact, leafy greens such as mint and thyme are rabbit favorites. Not only do bunnies find it yummy, but it packs health benefits when consumed in small amounts.
