Repeat customer, first time they did a wonderful job back in 2017, hired them again in 2022 for a continuation of my fence and was disappointed. Scheduled the install date 1.5 months in advance, took a vacation day in advance so I could be home, and they showed up on the wrong day, called me from work, and I had to ask to leave work early. They never once apologized for making me leave work and wasting a vacation day even though the paperwork showed they were wrong. They didn't clean up any of the scrap pieces they cut off of the vinyl fence install, they left cellophane wrap, candy, and band aid wrappers all around for me to pick up, that my dogs could have choked on. They also never collected any of the 15 softball sized rocks they dug up, just left them in my yard. Customer service was lacking, reached out to the company and still haven't heard back from them in over a week now.

I will say up front that if the owner had at least acknowledged the email I sent her to provide feedback about my installation, I wouldn't be writing this review. But she did not, so..... If you are simply looking for a straight, sturdy fence at a reasonable price, then you will get that from this company. For the most part I am happy with my fence, and the overall experience of working with this company. Customer assistance from the office staff (Ashley) was excellent, and the crew that installed the fence was professional, respectful, and courteous. However, if you value attention to detail and good craftsmanship as much as I do, then I would look elsewhere. It is for that reason that I rated them as only fair. A few examples of what I mean.... inconsistent picket widths; numerous nails missing their mark; pickets not properly fastened; inconsistent post-to-post section widths; and quality of wood used could have been much better. Unfortunately I would not hire them again for those reasons.

Very professional and responsive. Start to finish this company was great to work with. They finished in only 1 day which was great and the timeframe from estimatee to completion was only a week. Their customer service is awesome and the price was very affordable. I would highly recommend this company for your fencing needs.

Disappointed. I had McIntyre install an aluminum gate across my driveway. The hinges for the gate was installed on a post such that it left a minimal clearance between the driveway and after year and half the gate sagged just enough to start scraping the driveway. When called to ask to adjust the hinges upward, they told me that it was out of warranty and it would be a minimum of $300 for them to come out and fix it. I would not hire them again.

"We extend our sincerest apologies for the problem you have encountered with your driveway gate. As much as we would like to work on your request to make the necessary adjustments at no charge, unfortunately, upon double checking, the 12-month Craftmanship Warranty has already expired. The driveway gate was completed on June 2017, which is like you stated. Additionally, you also stated in a previous phone conversation that the driveway gate worked as it should until just recently. Furthermore, you installed the gate operator yourself after we installed the gate. Our 12-month Craftmanship Warranty covers our installation and our materials but does not cover the operator or stress caused by the operator that you decided to install afterwards. Nevertheless, we would still be happy to come out to your location and adjust the driveway gate hinges and / or the post for a minimum charge service charge of $300.00."

The man that came out and measured for estimate was very nice and helped with the layout of the fence. We accepted the estimate and set up installation date. The two men who came to install were very nice and professional. They installed fence, two walk gates and one drive gate. I had them come back to adjust one gate and have had no problems with the fence or their work. I would hire them again and do recommend them.

Ashley helped me over a period of several weeks to find different kinds of fencing examples and offered pricing in a helpful and timely manner until such time as I made my decision. Installers were prompt and courteous and did a very good job.
I had actually called another fencing company recommended by a neighbor that did come out, but short of an email acknowledging the visit I never received the quote or a follow up phone call.
Because I knew exactly how many feet I wanted installed and could mark the property lines myself, I was able to handle the entire transaction by email and phone.
I have recommended McIntyre Fencing to my neighbor who is planning on installing fencing very soon.

They were able to install my fence only 1 week after initial estimate. They arrived on time and completed the job in the allotted time. The overall quality of the job was very good and the price was in line with other companies. The workers were friendly and did a nice job cleaning up when finished. Good customer service.

We built a new pool and per the county code we had to have a fence to enclose it. I didn't want one, but since we had to have one, I decided it was going to be a beautiful fence that matched the craftsman style of our house (stained wood posts, dadoes, bronze caps and bronze iron fencing). Nobody locally wanted to do this specialty job. We priced iron fencing at a wholesale fence supply company thinking we could install it ourselves and maybe it would also be cheaper. After getting the quote, we called the fence manufacturer and asked if they recommended anyone. They recommended McIntyre fencing, but it was 1 1/2 to 2 hours away from us. We called anyway and they said they would come down here and do the installation. Not only was their bid over $1000 cheaper than the wholesale fencing place, but they were going to install it for us. They were very easy to work with and very accommodating considering we had to change the installation date 3 times due to issues with the pool. They also endured endless questioning by my husband. Once they started the installation, they expertly installed the posts we supplied and even put up the supports for two arbors. Everything is sturdy, straight, and perfect. They cleaned up after themselves and left the area looking better than when they came in. I am telling all of my friends and associates that if they need a fence, this is the only company they should call.

Absolutely great job! Had gotten two other estimates from other companies and theirs was the most competitive. They were able to start work within a week, which was something the others didn't offer. They also offered the service of sealing the fence as well, which was a big added plus for me. The end result was a beautiful fence that looks great with my home. This is a local family owned and operated business. I highly recommend them. They were very professional. The owner himself came out and did my initial estimate, and also sealed the fence. His son and his crew constructed the fence. It was a pleasure dealing with them as so many companies these days lack in customer service and pride in their work.

I became familiar w. Mcintyre Fencing when they did a fence at my brother's business. I saw first hand the level of quality in their work as well as the quality in their workers. When I closed on my own home, of course, they were among the companies I called for a quote. They were prompt and provided me w. a quote that fit both my specs and my budget. They were nearly half the price of other quotes I'd received because they stuck to necessities that needed replacing instead of trying to convince me to replace entire sections that were not damaged.
We were quoted, booked, and job completed all within 3 days of each other. The work was done quickly, to the specs discussed, and it ended up looking better then we imagined. All in all, I see why my brother uses them...and I"ll def. use them again if the need arises.30
