"Overall, it was a good experience. AAA put down a vapor barrier and installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier with sump pump. The result is that we can now use the stand-up basement/crawlspace to store things under the house without ruining them. This is the part that you need to know. The installation was not without problems. First, they broke an A/C drain pipe, second, they cut a sprinkler controller wire while running a PVC pipe. Here's my take, accidents happen but how does the business respond to these issues? Well, Donna was very quick to send her team out to correct the problems and they even paid for the damage to the sprinkler system. To me, that's top notch customer service. Any business can make a mistake, but how they handle it is the mark of a good company. Every time I lift the roll door and go into the basement now, I'm amazed at how cool and fresh the air is down there. No more mildew and no more smell."

We had been so pleased with a 10x12' garden shed they built for us in 2012 that we had them build our art studio as well.  Once again, they did an outstanding job. We could not be more pleased with both buildings. We've used Backyard Construction because the quality of their buildings is excellent. After looking at dozens of other companies' offerings it was easy to see that Backyard used better materials and offered a higher level of workmanship yet was still very competitive pricewise. The studio is now one year old and the garden shed is two years old, and neither building has presented any problems whatsoever.
Construction began on time and was completed right on schedule. Their crew was courteous and extremely efficient. Dustin was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to our ideas and did an excellent job following up to make sure we were happy with everything. Working with Backyard Construction was a very positive experience for us each time, and we're more than happy to recommend them to others.

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.
