"Conscientious. Dependable. Thorough with details. My husband and I were thrilled with the spring cleaning job Sonia and Liz did on our house. Cupboards were wiped down, even inside the drawers. Floors sparkled. Baseboards looked like new. Not one crumb was left on the countertops. These girls literally went the second mile. They drove to our house to meet with me a couple of weeks before the scheduled cleaning date to have me show them exactly what I needed cleaned in our house. The price was very reasonable, especially considering all the extra attention they gave to make our house shine like new. Sonia and Liz are friendly and kind, yet professional and are quick to respond and line things up. I would definitely hire them again!"

"He hand washed the vehicle's exterior.  On the inside he removed the floor mats, vacuumed the carpet, wiped hard services and cleaned the leather like new.  He finished by cleaning the windows, inside and out, and polishing the exterior.  This is the second time I've used Shine and Dandy, and I would not hesitate to use him again.

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can polish an old cement floor. However, be aware that the first pass with the concrete grinder may reveal a few surprises and imperfections. You may also have to contend with the consequences of previous floor coverings, such as tile or carpet, which can leave a pattern in the concrete. Old concrete is more likely to produce uneven results if you want to use a dye or other coloring.

The answer to this question depends on how large the room is and how much experience you have stripping and waxing floors. It will take at least 24 hours to strip the floors, then you must allow time for drying, waxing, waiting for them to cure, and, finally, buffing them. Since you likely will not be working for the full 24 hours, it is safe to say that this is a two- or three-day job.

Baking soda is an excellent choice for a natural dog urine neutralizer. You can sprinkle it on a stain, leave it overnight, and then vacuum it in the morning to help rid your hardwoods of the dog urine smell. Hydrogen peroxide is another odor neutralizer, but be careful not to mix it with other household cleaners.

Yes, polished concrete floors are worth it for homeowners who want durability, style, and low maintenance in one sleek flooring surface. You get the modern visual appeal of stone or tile with far less upkeep and far less cost. Polished concrete flooring is tough enough for high-traffic areas, it’s a great choice for people with allergies, and it’s easy to clean. If your existing concrete is in good shape, polishing it can give you solid value that shines on for years.

Common options include hardwood, tile, and vinyl floors. Professionals tailor methods to the specific material.
