We can do a little bit of everything from simple assembly jobs to larger home repairs. We paint, install new light fixtures and fans, repair fences and install them and that just a few examples. Billy has spent most of his time as a mechanic and would do hand man work on the side, he enjoyed the handyman work so much that he has chosen to make it a full time career. Give us a call and let us know how we can help you!

Factory finish-like painting of dated cabinetry with quality primer & paint products to update your kitchen cabinets, island, or bathroom vanities. In business for 3+ years and owner-operated, I have transformed many kitchens/bathrooms around the Atlanta & Marietta area. I come work onsite and I will remove all the doors/hardware and put them back when the job is complete. I also do extensive prep work to ensure the cabinets are deglossed and lightly sanded so that the paint has a better surface to adhere to. I then fill any holes or gaps before painting to make the cabinets look as new as possible, and tape off the floors, walls, and backsplashes before getting started. I prefer to use either Benjamin Moore Advance Formula or Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane, both great formulas for cabinetry. Especially with the high quality bonding primer I use beforehand. "Caitlin is amazing. After talking she understood exactly what we wanted with refinishing our kitchen cabinets. The quality of her products and the quality of her work are unmatched. Reliable and efficient. Job completed in a very timely manner but absolutely no shortcuts. Would absolutely use her again. I highly recommend her."

Furniture Refinishing questions, answered by experts

Yes, many services include refinishing as part of the repair process. Confirm with your contractor.

Yes, vinegar can remove polyurethane from wood, but it is a slow, inefficient, and inconsistent restoration method. Whatever your intention, it’s best to avoid using vinegar on wood with a polyurethane finish—though it can be an effective cleaner for other wood finishes.

Wood stain remover should remove most, if not all, of that wood stain on its own. While sanding can be a great final step, especially if you’re planning to paint or restrain the wood, it isn’t always required. Following the first three steps of this process can leave you with beautiful results.

Wood stains last anywhere from two to five years, depending on exposure to the elements, your local climate, the type of stain, and the surface it’s on. For instance, vertical surfaces last longer than horizontal surfaces. Some types of woods, like dense hardwoods, will require a recoat yearly, as they are too dense for the stain to absorb. In any event, apply a recoat every 2 to 4 years. As for storage, a can of unopened stain can last up to 5 years, though results may vary.

If the scratch is large enough that it compromises the integrity of the wood, a wood filler probably won’t be enough to fix the problem. In that case, you might need to sand and refinish the entire floor or replace a board. If you do use a filler, use one that’s appropriate for the scratch. Water-based wood fillers work for small gaps or gouges, while epoxy has added strength to fill larger scratches and gaps.
