"He arrived with a smile, on time, ready to work! I will be honest. I did not think the carpet would be something he would be willing to work on. It is 25 years old, very dirty with many, many pet stains. I expected him to say it needed to be replaced. I was hesitant to do so because my elderly Father lives in the home and is in poor health. It would be distressing for him to go through the change of installing new carpet. So...thinking it was worth a try, I decided to let Brad give it a shot. 
I am amazed at the improvement that Brad was able to achieve! I do not have new carpet but it is better than I thought possible. I also want to mention the kindness that Brad demonstrated towards my Father. He was willing to work around my sleeping Father with a smile and then treated him with respect and encouragement when Dad awoke. That was as they say priceless.
I do not usually make the effort to rate providers. Finesse Carpet & Tile Cleaning was worth the effort. I do want to mention that I asked Brad to look at some kitchen floor tile / grout while he was at the house. He noted that the grout was loose and felt that he might cause a problem cleaning it because his equipment uses suction. I appreciated his honesty and chose to stick with the carpet cleaning only. When the job was complete he had me look over the work to see if I was satisfied. He picked up his equipment. He had provided protectors to prevent his hoses from rubbing against furniture. The bill was as he had stated with no question except that he did check to make sure that I had received the discount for using Angie's List. 
I received follow up phone call and email to be sure I was still pleased and that the carpet had dried well.

"Todd Phillips did an amazing renovation of our 1950s rural family home built by my father who is now deceased. He would have been very happy with their work and the improvements that were made, and the reuse of some of the 100+ year old wood. My father actually recycled it from an old farmhouse that had once stood on the property. It is now a rustic backsplash in our new kitchen. Mr. Phillips was the only builder who responded to my request for a renovation estimate when our mother died several years ago. He came out and gave us a very fair price, but he knew then [he said] that it might be sometime before the job started. And it was. Years later I called him, and he remembered that time; we met and came to an agreement for the renovation of what was to become our retirement home. He is honest, communicates, offers professional and experienced advice, manages his subcontractors, and charges a fair price for the work. We have not had any problems with any of the work: Kitchen/Dining, 2 bathrooms (three-piece & four-piece both w/glass showers), bedroom, laundry/utility room renovations; new hardwood floors, floor tile, new windows and doors, plumbing & electrical, new walls, ceilings, interior painting and finishing throughout. We highly recommend Todd Phillips and hope that we will be able to get on his schedule for additional building projects."
