Best tree service pros near Columbus, GA

"If you need tree service, trimming or removal, call Woodland Tree Service FIRST. I used this company about 8 years ago. I had a fairly large tree leaning over my tractor shed that was starting to rot. I called several tree services. Most would not come because I live out a ways, in a rural area. I received some quotes with online photos of over $3500.00. When I inquired why the price was so high, they explained they needed to bring lift trucks and heavy equipment. I found Woodland Tree Service phone number and decided to call. Donnie Pitts was out here the next day and gave me an estimate far below $3500.00. He asked when I wanted it done and I told him "Whenever he could" He told me he could do it right them .....and BOY, did he! So now that spring is here and the leaves are out on the trees, I noticed my TV satellite and my internet satellite were being blocked by a large tree in my yard. I went to Angie's (list) and put in my request. Woodland Tree Service , plus four others were to call and give me an estimate. About 10 minutes after I had finished on Angie's. Donnie Pitts, from Woodland Tree Service called. He was at my house that evening and gave me an estimate that was more than reasonable. He was here the next day. They know what they are doing and they do it well. I only wished that I had some extra money to pay him, because watching him and the man on the ground with the rope, was like paying to watch a high wire act. I will recommend them to everyone I know and know that they will do an amazing job. If you need tree service...call Woodland Tree Service...FIRST!!"

"The first time it was scheduled it rained, then weeks went by. They did not call me to reschedule. I had to keep calling. I felt like they kept putting my project off until I told the rep that I could use another tree service if they were unable to get my tree scheduled. After the tree was cut down, it was left on the ground for a week before being removed, so now I have to replant the grass."

"We had several companies in the Columbus area come out and look at our old Pecan tree. It needed to be removed. Elite Tree Service was the most professional. They communicated efficiently. They were clean and punctual. It was almost like the tree disappeared. They even had to remove part of our fence and put it back but you wouldn’t know that unless I told you. You can tell it is a good company to work for when the people in the field are just as happy and respectful as the people in the office. I really appreciate the great work you all did, thank you."

"I had a gas line installed at my house and asked them about sump grinding. They said Matthew & Joey Tree Service and several other companies.  I went in and checked Angies List and they were 1st on the list of two. Called them, they were here in less than 10 minutes, gave me a good price and the stump was gone. Total time from being told about them to job finished was about 30 minutes. Can't beat that. Fast, good job, good price. I'll use them again.

"I have known Jarrod Dew for many years now. He was employed by his father that used to run a tree company with a different name. I always got great service from that company. The last time I had Jarrod out for tree services, it was his company, Arbortech Tree Service. Jarrod is my first call for any type of tree service. He is a five star across the board tree professional."

"They did a great job removing the large tree . It was fast & efficient."

"-Kaleb and Karen are personable and professional. They attend to safety and their gear in that regard is excellent. They are thoughtful about every action, work together well, respond effectively to unforeseen circumstances, and are serious about being productive in their work. This is a dangerous business and they perform it in a supportive and, again, safe manner. -I'm 62 and, having had several trees removed, I've seen a good bit of this(utube warrior also). Was fascinated by their easy response to a necessary change in technique, and was impressed when they dropped a 100' plus pine(stepped it off on ground) exactly where Kaleb said they would. -They are an up and coming business having done this for several years on a part-time basis while Kaleb was in the military(now retired) and are very accomplished for a still relatively young couple. Young enough to be energetic and old enough to demonstrate the professionalism that comes from experience....appreciate the job they did and enjoyed spending time with and around them while they worked. Would recommend them to anyone! (Thomas and Amy Sheppard)"

"This group is amazing. Responded to my post right away. Had lots of poignant questions. Reasonable cost. Started promptly. Knew exactly what I needed done. Would recommend highly. Very efficient team."

"These guys did a great job removing 2 huge trees and elevating other trees on my property. Clean, neat and conscientious of my property. They even put rubber mats down to drive across the grass. The customer service before, during and after was fantastic!!!! Highly recommend them!!!"

"Was very professional and done on time. Would recommend to friends and family."
