"In 2017, we needed all of our windows and 3 doors leading to the outside replaced. Our home was about 30 years old and still had the originial windows. We had many companies come out to our house to give us quotes. We decided to go with Marc and we are so happy with this decision! He provided quality workmanship for an affordable price in a timely manner using high quality materials. To begin with, he helped us fill out the paperwork that our HOA required. He was very patient as we made design decisions regarding the doors. His team was punctual and professional every day they came to the house. His team did make one mistake when installing one of the doors, and Marc was quick to fix it. After the windows were installed and we had them painted, we noticed some smears on the glass that appeared to be between the two panes of glass. Marc was quick to contact Precision Millworks, the window manufacturer, to remedy the issue which ended up not being a window issue at all. Over-spray of paint from the painters had caused it. My point is Marc stood by his work and his product. I would definitely recommend Marc to everyone I know and would absolutely hire him again for future home improvement projects."

"We were very impressed with Jordan of North Georgia Glass, and the service that we received. We quickly received the quote, and the replacement window glass was installed earlier than promised. The replacement window glass looks GREAT. Would definitely use again. Highly recommend."

"We got our quote in 2018 but didn't commit to the project until 2019. Josh had all our information and went above and beyond to get things started. The windows were installed ahead of schedule and we are extremely please with the results. There were 31 windows in all and only two minor problems (one broken keeper and a glass unit that has to be replaced). The crew was very good and respectful throughout installation and they cleaned the area around the house after completion. It was as pleasant an experience any home improvement could be."

"Had an exterior tear down and all new Hardie board, soffits, and fascia installed and painted along with new gutters and a screened in porch glassed in and enclosed. Chuck managed the project front to back and did an amazing job with thorough follow ups along the way. Any minor issues were taken care of without push-back. Make a Choice work crews were on time and worked like crazy all day long. They were professional and courteous. Should I require future service in their area of expertise, they have earned my repeat business. Great job by all."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

White vinegar, water, and baking soda create a natural cleaning solution that is highly effective against brown stains on the oven door. Mix one cup of baking soda, one-fourth cup of water, and one teaspoon of vinegar into a paste. Spread it evenly onto the oven glass and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Then, scrape the mixture off with a plastic spatula. Wipe the glass with white vinegar to remove any remaining baking soda.

While wavy glass is sometimes called antique glass or restoration glass due to the fact that it's found exclusively in older homes, the proper names for wavy glass are actually crown glass and cylinder glass. Most commonly used for circular or portal windows, crown glass was created by manufacturers using a process of blowing and spinning. Meanwhile, cylinder glass was used more commonly because it created large square sheets that could be shaped to fit windows of all shapes and sizes.

Yes. Vinyl windows have a PVC frame that wraps around a glass panel that is usually made up of two thinner glass panels separated by an insulating, noise-absorbing airspace. Some vinyl windows are triple-glazed, with three insulating air panels within them. This glass helps keep your interior quiet from outside noise while its insulating qualities help your space stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Broken glass cannot usually be recycled. Most recycling programs state that glass must be intact in the form of bottles or jars in order to be recycled. You may be able to recycle broken glass at a drop-off recycling facility—contact the facility to see if they accept broken glass.

Regular cleaning and inspecting seals to prevent fogging and maintain clarity.
