"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

"Superb is the word that comes to mind when talking about Connell's Lawn Care! Mr. Connell and his team did a fantastic job cleaning up my landscape and yard that had gone too long without proper maintenance. He was able to remove a ton of weeds, raked everything out of the old landscape beds and then proceeded to trim all the palms/trees/bushes on my property to get them back to looking great again! He then filled everything back in with new mulch and got everything looking awesome! I really appreciate all the hard work and how well everything turned out in the end. It's tough these days to find someone that will work this hard for you, so I HIGHLY recommend Connell's Lawn Care! I liked his work so much that I'm now using him to maintain my lawn too! Thank you!!!"

"Jeffrey did an excellent job of painting the interior and exterior of our 3600+ square foot home, by himself. We were prepping our home for sale while working against an aggressive timeline. The exterior portion of the job completely revived our home, and gave our home a lot of curb appeal. The interior work was also really good, helping us secure a contract within four days. Thank you Jeffrey!"

Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Converting a carport into a garage can vary in difficulty depending on its configuration, the condition of the foundation or slab, and its location relative to the house. The process has a lot in common with a home addition, but you can often skip non-essential finishes like fine flooring, trim work, or even drywall and HVAC. The conversion requires experience with drywall, insulation, and other building materials to ensure it’s done safely and correctly. While it might be possible for a DIYer with the proper tools and skills to do the work, it is a complicated and potentially dangerous job. If you’re new to basic construction, it's best to leave this project to the professionals.

Costs depend on desk size, labor, included features like drawers or motorized height adjustments, and required wall anchoring.

Yes, a 2x6 should hold a porch swing and safely support the load. A smaller joist runs the risk of it not offering enough support for the swing. If you have a joist smaller than 2x6, add additional bolstering support.

New builds, remodels, and additions often necessitate professional framing expertise.

It’s best to use two screws to secure deck boards into every joist. Securing the boards to every joist makes the deck more structurally sound, while using two screws on the outer sides of the boards can help prevent warping and cupping.
