Luke Pool Service founded in 2001 is located in Alpharetta GA. We are one of the few pool services to be located in the city. Luke Pool Service techs are all CPO certified. We specialize in swimming pool service, repairs, and renovations. Our strong points are making green pools clean and clear, saving customers on their electric bill, and providing great customer service year after year.

"Do not use Luke pools for any of your replacement, renovation or installation projects. They do a decent job at cleaning the pool but anything above that and you’ll be very disappointed. It took Luke almost 16 months to finish our pool renovation and almost twice the quoted cost. They never even completed the project and we were ended up settling. Towards the end, Luke wouldn’t even communicate. You only talk to his wife who is unpleasant and uses every excuse in the book. Please look into other options so you don’t have to go through what we did for 16 months. Learn from our mistake of using Luke pool service. It could not have been a worse experience."

Inground Swimming Pool Service And Repair

"We had been his customer since 2017. The first year was great. He showed up and provided the services we wanted. The next year, not so good. The pool cleaning weekly was just that, didn't do checks of the equipment, and we ended up putting our own salt in. ONe week the pool pump wasn't running and the cleaning person, said he noticed it wasn't running but didn't do anything about it. We noticed it about 2 hours before leaving for the airport to go on vacation. It ended up being a broken power wire that we had to coordinate to get fixed while we were out of country. Had the pool person informed us during his so called equipment checks, we could have at least started to get it looked at before we were leaving for vacation. Pride didn't seem to be bothered by this at all. He also promised to fix our leaking gas line, but I ended up temp fixing it until he bothered to do something about it a year later. My wife was the only reason he kept our business.....Had it been up to me, he would have been fired that second year. In 2019 and 2020 he never showed up to open or close the pool when he said he would. This year (2021) my wife notified him a month in advance to tell him the week we wanted the pool open, he agreed but yet again he didn't show. The following week he still didn't show, so we pulled our own cover off so we could get the patio pressure washed and all the pollen cleaned from the house. After numerous text messages, voice messages, and even actually talking to him we insisted he at a minimum drop off our pool plugs so we could at least get the pool up and running on our own. Today, one of his workers showed up (spent maybe 10 to 15 minutes, didn't speak to us or nothing), poured something in the pool, put in the plugs and started the pump, then left. Didn't even clean it, or wait long enough to make sure there were no leaks (there was). He doesn't seem to want to have a successful business. WE were a sure weekly check but he doesn't seem to need or want us as customers. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. HE EITHER DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS OR DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS."

FAQs for pool and spa servicing projects in Atlanta, GA

You should have your spa or hot tub inspected and serviced yearly to prevent more costly repairs. Regular hot tub maintenance can save money and help keep you safe from hazards such as faulty wiring. Call a professional hot tub repair specialist, who will know what common issues to look for and have the parts and tools on hand to fix them immediately.

The cost to repair a hot tub or spa ranges from about $170 to $550, depending on the repairs needed. Some of the most common hot tub repairs include leaks, clogged filters, and tripped GFCI breakers. If it’s an electrical problem, you should contact a professional hot tub repair service. Don’t DIY electrical repairs on a hot tub, as poorly repaired wiring can make the hot tub a serious electrocution hazard.

Pool repair costs vary depending on the type of pool. Repairing an inground pool ranges from $350 to $2,700, depending on the extent of the repairs needed. Repairs to an above-ground pool usually cost $100 to $700. The most common repairs include patching or replacing the vinyl pool liner, fixing plumbing or electrical lines, and repairing pumps, filters, and other equipment.

Depending on the size and type of pool, cleaning services cost about $80 to $150 per month, or $960 to $1,800 per year. Pool maintenance and cleaning services often include:

  • Testing the pH levels of your water

  • Cleaning filters, skimmer baskets, and traps

  • Skimming surface debris from the water

  • Vacuuming the pool

  • Additional cleaning and upkeep
