Construction company focusing on high quality renovations but we do all work no job is to big or small
"Well I contacted Rob about a house I was looking to buy and renovate. He met with me, was super nice, took down everything I wanted to do, etc. I then paid him $150 for a proposal. That’s where the problems started. Although he set the deadline himself, I kept hearing ‘tomorrow, tomorrow’ when I would ask for an update. Finally got it back. It was a pretty vague list of things and rough prices attached (ex. just “floors - $X” - not “hardwood in middle bedroom,” “tile in the kitchen,” and so on) and a shoddy drawing of a layout with hardly any detail and certainly not drawn to scale. Maybe my expectations were off there. But I want a little more than that before I go take out a loan and hire you to do a $100K job, amirite? But whatever, whatever - put that aside. It comes down to when I’m going to have to make a decision, need to get him approved by my bank... POOF. GONE. Radio silence. Won’t answer calls. Won’t answer texts. Won’t answer emails. I said he could just let me know if he didn’t want to take this on, etc. Just nothing. Strange way to run a business. Especially when the job you want people to hire you for is usually time sensitive and requires excellent communication. Honestly, I hope he’s okay and if I hear otherwise, I’ll consider removing this. But without more information, I wanted to give an honest review and give folks a heads up that this could happen again."

"I have tried several times to speak to some one concerning a refund for a roof repair project that was completed but was not effective in preventing rain water from entering and damaging the interior of my home. The only individual I have been able to reach at the main office told me to call some one else, as opposed to having them return my call. I have since called all the numbers I could find and left messages and have yet to receive a call back or any communication from anyone with the company. Lowe Construction can improve by first returning the calls of their customers. I have given communicated with Lowe concerningthe continuous water leakage prior to requesting a refund for the cost of the work. they came but were not effective in solving the problem. it is only fair that if you can't do the job that you return the money so that I can find a a roof contractor that will do the job they are paid to do. This lack of communication and response to a customers concern is unacceptable and despite how pleased I was at the under deck project Lowe completed,I can not recommend them until this is resolved"

The cost to convert a fireplace to gas is $3,000 on average. The typical cost range is $500 to $5,500, with cost factors like whether you need to install natural gas lines and the type of gas fireplace.
If you need to install a natural gas line, you’ll pay $200 to $1,000 on top of additional labor and material costs. Vented gas fireplaces are the most expensive type to install, averaging around $5,000. A more cost-effective option is a ventless gas fireplace, costing around $1,500 since they don’t vent to your home’s exterior.
The average cost to repair a fireplace is $575. You might pay anywhere from $95 to $2,500, depending on the severity of repairs and the type of fireplace. A typical repair of an igniter can range from $100 to $150. However, if you need to repair your mantel, expect the bill to be anywhere from $500 to $1,200. Wood fireplaces tend to cost more to repair due to specialized labor costs. Electric fireplaces tend to be the most cost-effective to repair, along with gas.
The cost to install a fireplace is $2,440 on average. This cost can range from $150 to $8,000 or more, depending on the type of fireplace, the materials used, and the size.
Electric fireplaces cost around $1,000 to install, and mostly only require wiring installation. Installing a wood fireplace from scratch could cost upwards of $10,000, depending on the foundation needed to support the weight of the fireplace. In addition, gas fireplaces can cost between $2,500 and $10,000.
The cost to remodel your fireplace is $1,200 on average. This cost can range from $400 to $2,000, depending on the extent of work needed.
If you add a hearth to your fireplace, you can expect to pay between $3 and $200 per square foot. However, if you're refacing your fireplace, the price tag will depend on your chosen materials. If choosing tile, you can pay between $1 and $50 per square foot, depending on the design. Stone is a more expensive material, averaging between $60 and $70 per square foot.
The average cost to remove a fireplace is $7,000 but can range from $4,000 to $10,000. Labor costs account for the majority of this price, which can range between $500 and $2,000. In addition, permits to remove a fireplace are typically needed, and these can cost anywhere from $100 to $1,000, depending on your location and city requirements. If you’re removing your fireplace due to issues like asbestos or damage, you will likely need to pay to rectify these problems along with the fireplace removal cost.
