As a home stager, I do consultations and walk through your home and see what needs to be done to sell your home. I will give you a handwritten report and then the homeowner can decide what they would like to do. Redesign is helping a homeowner with a room makeover, selecting paint colors, rearranging furniture, using accessories they may already have or select new ones. The homeowner just wants to refresh the look of their room, could be one room or other rooms of the house..

You can tackle hanging Christmas lights yourself with the right tools, accessories, and a trusted friend or neighbor. You’ll need to purchase a ladder ($100 to $300), clips ($10 to $20), hooks ($10 to $15), and lights ($25 to $100 per string).

Otherwise, you should hire a trusted holiday light installer near you. You’ll pay an average price of $200 to $650, but you’ll have peace of mind knowing that the job is done correctly and safely.

It’s not a good idea to mix LED and incandescent Christmas lights if you can avoid it. LEDs and incandescents can have significantly different electrical current needs.
