Small jobs welcome

"I hired BM Services in January to power wash the exterior of my property. I was told the job would take about two hours and that the technician would arrive at 7:00 a.m. — which I honestly doubted since it was 38 degrees in South Florida that morning! To my surprise, the technician arrived at 6:50 a.m., fully prepared and ready to work. He did an outstanding job cleaning the exterior of my property and even went above and beyond by cleaning additional surfaces that weren’t part of our original agreement. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to give helpful recommendations for future services. I was extremely impressed with the quality of work and will definitely be using BM Services again. Highly recommend!"

Emergency services offered

"In April of 2023 I had them change my crab grass to Enpire grass. I thought they did a professional job but after almost one year my new grass was turning brown in different spots and now it is almost completely brown. I have watered it twice a day and still it got worse. When I asked them what is wrong they suggested watering and letting it grow more higher. They were cutting my grass till a month ago and the company passed me to another company to do my yard work without talking to me in person only by text. At the beginning they cut my grass, trees, bushes great. But when putting my Enpire grass, I found out that they should have removed all my crab grass first not cut the crab grass down to the roots. That is why I still have crab grass growing between my Enpire grass today. I asked if that was normal & they said yes. Just pull it. So don't get new sod grass from them especially Enpire grass which tolerates Florida's weather and needs less water. Unfortunately, my Enpire grass has not turned out well after 6 months & couldn't get the right help nor care from this company. They are good in cutting the trees, bushes. Cutting the grass mostly with a Weed Wacker mostly instead of regular lawn mower may have hurt my grass. That is why I gave 3. They do arrive the day they are coming."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

It depends on the type of wood. The average cost to build a deck out of pressure-treated lumber is $15 to $25 per square foot, but more affordable varieties such as bamboo and cedar cost less at around $3 to $10 per square foot. However, when comparing the cost of vinyl decking versus wood decking, it’s important to also consider ongoing maintenance costs. For example, most woods require regular sealing to keep them protected against weather and rot.

Putting lattice under a deck will create a polished look that allows for air ventilation. You can also store items underneath as the lattice provides privacy and protection from the weather. You can also put lattice under a porch to create a polished look in the front of your house.

Choices include wood, composite, and hardwoods, each with unique benefits.

Increases livable area and enhances aesthetic, often boosting property appeal.

Most building codes list a minimum width of 36 inches and a maximum height of 7¾ inches. However, for the most comfort and spaciousness, you’ll want to aim for a width of at least 48 inches and a height of 7 inches. Again, it’s always a good idea to base your numbers off steps that you already use comfortably.
