"After getting quotes from 6 large and small roofing companies, we decided to go with Total Home. Their price was in the middle but everything the salesperson explained to me made it easier to compare companies and possible outcomes. He made good suggestions for placement of additional air vents, replacement of skylights from plastic to glass, and other items which the other companies did not mention or charged much more for. This is a big company so I'll tell you I'm in the Orlando region. The job was started on time and completed within 5 days. It might have been done in 4 but it started raining one day and they covered everything well. Job manager came by a couple of times each day to check progress, including checking on the cleanup. He was very attentive to our satisfaction with everything. I liked that they had someone in the office assigned to follow up with me as needed. I could call her if I had a question or I couldn't reach the job manager and she would follow up with him for me. All this makes me give them an A for customer service. "Solarshield did a great job with the work.  This was a detailed job that required many bends and cuts to accommodate the skylight curbs.  It took a little more roofing material than anticipated, and when new material came in that didn't match the color
completely, Frank noticed the difference and took the initiative to wait a couple more days for the right materials to arrive. The colors were close, so it was an attention to detail that I appreciated.

"the quote (final price $1200.00) roof repair/skylight replacement process was quick, efficient.  We requested and received a quote for additional lumber and plywood if it was needed further than the original area quoted.  Shingles were not part of the quote as we mistakenly thought shingles in storage were appropriate. Manuel and his brother were pleasant, hard workers.  The aforementioned incorrect shingles were purchased by them (the new ones were almost a perfect match considering the roof is 5 yrs old) and installed within 1/2 hour of purchase from local supplier!  After the roofing repair/installation was complete, Manuel checked the interior ceiling around the skylight and the wall surrounding the slider as he saw extensive interior ceiling/wall damage when the roof was open.  He said that Panda Roofing could accomplish interior repair work as well.  He explained how far back the wallboard needed to be opened to view the underlying beam and support damage.
"Brad" of Panda Roofing gave us a reasonable quote of $2135 to repair the interior area referred to by Manuel.  The work commenced on the day of the quote.  Brad replaced all rotting plywood (There was also extensive termite damage which was remediated before roofing work began), replaced structural beams over the slider (providing proper bracing for the ceiling while the beams were removed), reinstalled the slider, replaced wet insulation and replaced, taped, mudded all new dry wall. 
Important to us, every day the work area was protected and  debris was thoroughly swept up and hauled away!"
