From your home’s foundation to its driveway, lanai, patio and sidewalks, cement is where your home begins and ends. It’s also a valuable part of your home’s total worth and resale appeal. Brogan Concrete has been proud to serve the Central Florida and Metro Orlando area since 1986. Nearly 40 years later, Brogan Concrete remains a leader in Central Florida for driveway replacement, lanai and patio creation and for completing many other custom concrete projects, such as stairs, basketball courts, community sidewalks and concrete drainage systems. Brogan Concrete is fully licensed, bonded and insured. No matter what company you choose, always protect yourself by hiring craftsmen who are properly covered.

"Todd was very professional, attention to detail and paid close attention to our particular requests. He walked the site multiply times and was very familiar with our requirements. On the day of the concrete pour he was present and instructing the team on the specifics of the job. The team leader, Jared, led the team through all the challenges and made the final concrete look fantastic! Tim was instrumental in shaping the grounds with his skid-loader and providing dirt for low areas. In the end Todd provided more concrete that was estimated to get the project well done. I would highly recommend Brogan Concrete Services for all your concrete projects! Thank you, Todd!"

LRE Foundation Repair has been Florida’s trusted foundation and concrete repair expert since 1989, with over 26,000 projects completed. We repair settling foundations, lift and level concrete, and repair and encapsulate crawl spaces. We also handle deep foundation solutions and soil stabilization. With over 35 years of experience, we offer free inspections, lifetime transferable warranties, and a satisfaction guarantee—so you can feel confident your home or property is protected.

"The company charged $4000 for a pop-up drainage system to prevent flooding in my stand-alone backyard office. When heavy rain came, it was apparent that the system in place was not working, and despite multiple emails, no one responded for six months. When they did, they sent workers out to do the same job that was already done. They also told me that the system in place would not work and should never have been placed and in the end, recommended I hire an irrigation company, stating that they are not an irrigation company and, when asked about a partial refund since the system placed did not work, they refused. In short, I cannot recommend this company. Poor work, poor customer service."

"Would recommend ACI to anybody. Sergio and crew were top notch. I spoke with several other contractors about this project before choosing ACI. Sergio and team were attentive to all details we spoke of before starting the job (a concrete slab for a 30x50 shop), He made great suggestions to improve the design of the slab to better suite our needs. They showed up when they said they would, communicated perfectly, cleaned up after themselves, and even worked very late into the night making sure to properly finish the surface of our slab when the concrete trucks showed up later than expected. These guys were really committed to the quality of their work. Sergio also gave us some great tips to keep the slab well taken care of over the years such as sealing and polishing and when to do so. Overall, I hired ACI INSTEAD of another company that was referred to me by trusted friends and I’m glad I did. I’m sure the job would have turned out “OK”with the other company but I very much doubt that our project would have received the same attention to detail and craftsmanship as was provided from ACI."

Welcome to J&M Pump Services. We are a family owned and run business with over 5 years of experience. At J&M Pump Services we strive to make your concrete experience easier and enjoyable. We pump and pour concrete for walls, slabs or footers and no job is to small or to big. We are happy to help you in anyway possible. Please request a quote. We look forward to working with you.

"I am writing to formally address the issues concerning the project I hired Jackson of J & M Concrete to complete at my property. The scope of work was to diagnose and repair a pond leak as well as address a sinkhole, with an estimated project completion time of 2-3 days. The estimated total price was $6300, of which 50% was to be paid in advance, $3150 was paid. On January 2, 2025, Jackson, of J & M, poured some concrete, which was to cure and settle before the next phase. The project was left incomplete. Jason removed all equipment and left the job site by the next morning, leaving large ruts in the yard from the trackhoe and other heavy equipment. The sinkhole was not addressed, nor the pond leak. It has remained unfinished and has been getting worse during the last 2 and a half months. I called days two and three when there was no sign of them coming back and made numerous phone calls over the next couple months to find out when they would be back to finish the job, seeing as they were paid beyond the scope of the job they did. It has been more than 2 ½ months and no return phone call. At the end of February, I received a letter from the concrete company contracted by J &M, Smyrna Ready Mix Concrete, which is seeking payment for their services – “Notice to Contractor and Request for Notice of Commencement, O.C.G.A & s.44-14-361.5.” I called them and found out that their bill had not been paid by J & M. I notified Jackson about this matter and he texted back saying he was in Florida and would call in the upcoming week due to a death in the family. As of today, March 13, the pond continues to leak, and the sinkhole remains unresolved, even growing in size. The equipment used during the project caused enough damage to require that additional fees be spent for hiring a landscaper to address the ruts in the lawn left by the trackhoe, as well as the excavated hill dirt used to block the creek from flowing into the pond. The partial blockage diverted the water, causing it to overflow its banks. Fortunately, the blockage has since been cleared."

Driveway Sealcoating questions, answered by experts

If the goal is to reduce your lifetime asphalt driveway repair cost, driveway sealers with oil bases tend to last longer because their composition allows them to penetrate deeper into your driveway's asphalt. This provides deeper, longer-lasting protection compared to water-based products that tend to simply sit on the surface of the asphalt. Knowing that you won't have to redo your driveway as often could leave more room in your budget to cover something like the cost of a heated driveway.

The main difference between asphalt and blacktop is that asphalt has a lower ratio of bitumen—a low-grade tar-like crude oil—than blacktop. While blacktop is heated to 300 degrees or more, hot-mix asphalt is heated to a lower temperature, typically between 275 and 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Consult an asphalt driveway professional about which type of material is the best fit for your future asphalt driveway.

Driveway installation is challenging. While chip seal might sound easier to apply than asphalt, the process still involves heavy machinery and professional skills. Unless you come from a construction background, we recommend hiring an asphalt company to chip seal your new driveway. If you are paving the driveway entirely with chip seal, expect to pay $5 to $10 per square foot.

You should contact your driveway installer before winterizing a newly installed driveway. Winterizing it before the asphalt or concrete has fully cured can damage the driveway. But in many cases, you don't need to winterize a newly installed driveway anyway since it's likely freshly sealed and won't have much damage yet.

Yes, it’s possible to seal your driveway too much. Whether you have an asphalt or concrete driveway, sealing it every year opens your driveway to potential damage. Sealing an asphalt driveway annually may cause the seal to crack and peel even more. It may even trap oils within the asphalt that can leave you driving on a soft driveway. Avoid sealing your concrete driveway too much to prevent the concrete from cracking. If water enters these cracks, it can freeze, expand, and cause the cracks to worsen.
