"It was a pleasure working with Craig and Greg at Wise Inspections. They were able to schedule my inspection right away and at my convenience. It was a thorough inspection with a "Same Day" report! I was contacted by several managers after the inspection to check on my level of satisfaction and they even helped me with another type of inspection issue afterwards, all at very competitive prices! I highly recommend Wise Inspections!"

"This is a follow up to my prior review of Alpha Foundations. After reading my initial review, Alex (The General Manager) conctacted me to chat about my experience. I left the conversation with a better understanding of the initial inspection process and thoroughly impressed with the overall customer service of everyone I came into contact with at Alpha. From the sales team, field techs and management, my customer service experience was top notch. It's obvious to me that customer service and satisfaction is at the top of their priority list and it resonates througout the organization. Although I experienced a very minor issue with the initial diagnosis of the problems my property was having, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again in the future and would recommend them to friends and family."

"The mold testing and inspection was professionally done over the course of a 2 hours span. The results were ready within a few days and we had passed. The report was extensive including photos of the meter reading that were good. I am selling this property and can feel confident that there will be no repercussions in the future. I recommend Protocol Inspections highly!"

"I called J&B Waterproofing for a water leak from an exterior wall that was extremely hard to find. I had several companies previously that simply could not detect the leak. When John and Bobbie came they did a thorough inspection and found the leak was coming from an upstairs balcony when heavy rains would blow in from the east. They totally sealed the balcony and that was the end of the leak issue. I had them inspect and seal the windows of my house just to assure my home was totally waterproof. They worked very neat and cleaned up any mess that was made. Both John and Bobbie and the crew were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would absolutely recommend hiring them for any type of leaking issue in your home. Lynda Evans"

"I am very satisfied with my experience with A.C. Klein Appraisers. I was able to book an appointment quickly and, after coming to the house to do a visual inspection, they delivered their appraisal the next day. I will recommend this company to others and will definitely call them in the future."

Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

No, homeowners insurance typically does not cover the cost of removing a dead, sick, or rotting tree that is still standing. Insurance is designed to protect against sudden and unexpected accidents, whereas a tree dying or rotting over time is considered a maintenance issue. Coverage usually only applies after a tree has fallen and caused damage to your property.

Living in a termite-infested home isn’t just annoying—it’s risky. These pests can quietly chew through wood, weakening your walls, floors, and even the structure of your house. On top of the safety concerns, there’s the financial stress of repairs, not to mention potential health issues from mold or allergens stirred up by termite activity.

Generally, no. Most homeowners insurance policies will not cover polybutylene pipes because they are considered defective and high-risk. Damage from these pipes, such as leaks, may not be covered as it often doesn't fall under the category of "sudden and accidental" damage. Some insurance companies may even threaten to terminate a policy if the pipes are not replaced. While you should review your personal policy for specific details, you will most likely need to pay for the pipe replacement yourself. It is advisable to prioritize repiping your home to avoid costly, uncovered water damage.

No, home improvement loan rates typically do not drop during certain times of the year. Interest rates go up and down based on economic conditions rather than on the time of the year. Some banks may offer slight rate discounts around the same holidays every year, but this is a marketing decision rather than a decision based on the time of the year. If you want to use a home improvement loan to fund your remodeling project, the best option is to shop around at different banks for the best rates.

Costs depend on pipe length, accessibility, and whether additional services are required.
