"Our home was built in 2016 and the driveway had formed deep cracks on one side due to erosion. Alvin and the 2 Jason's who performed the work we're phenomenal! They explained the whole process of the work they were going to do and had no issues with us watching and asking questions. They did explain with the way the driveway had settled that the worse crack wouldn't completely close. Since the work was completed there hasn't been any sand on the bottom of our driveway. "I had a badly cracked and uneven driveway and a sidewalk that had fallen out of level and was allowing water to drain under the house. Got a bid from Sturdy Soil after a 15 minute inspection. I had another company come out to offer a bid. The other company was a national company with company car all covered with stickers while Sturdy Soil was local. The national company with a salesman who hung around for a couple hours finding a bunch of things that needed done and cost a ridiculous amount. Sturdy Soil doesnt have corporate offices, corporate salesman and got on the job within a couple days and finished quickly. I was amazed by the difference and saved thousands of dollars. "We had extensive subsidence on our driveway and several slabs had cracks. The estimator came on time, was professional, described the process, made appropriate measurements, took photos and promised an estimate by email. The estimate arrived 48 hours later and was right in line with others we received but much less than re-pouring the driveway. We approved the job and set a date for it's initiation in about one weeks time. They showed up right on time and commenced work. What was thought to be a 3-4 hour job eventually took 8 hours. No complaints from the contractor. The driveway was level, not perfect, but better than I had hoped for. I ground the uneven cracks myself and filled them with fast-set concrete. The driveway looks almost like new. We're happy so far. Time will tell how permanent the fix is."

"I am very pleased with the overall outcome of this job. Adriano's crew were very thorough and responsive to my concerns and requests. Adriano was here often to supervise, review the work, and give direction at the right times when it was needed. I had selected a product of which he was not a fan, but he was still willing to do the installation. When he gave me his estimate and discussed how he approached the job, I was convinced it would be done well, and I was right. There were some challenges to overcome, the first being that my concrete slab was seriously out of level throughout the house. They chose to grind rather than use any liquid method to level the slab, and although this was a dusty job I felt it was the better choice. The crew put plastic up between the work area and the other side of the house, to prevent permeation of the tile and concrete dust as much as possible, and I covered everything I could throughout the house where I could not close a door. This was indeed necessary. I felt that the added cost charged for the slab was certainly reasonable given the extent of the job. The installation price itself per square foot was slightly above some other estimates, but the quality of the work made that worth it. Other costs were reasonable in my opinion. Adriano is coming back soon to continue the living room and dining room. He has agreed to work around my schedule and I could not ask for better cooperation. I recommend him without hesitation."
