My experience with Perkins Concrete, from the initial estimate to the final inspection, was very positive. I received 4 estimates to replace the cracked, pitted, sunken concrete floor in my 97-year-old detached garage. Warren Perkins was the only contractor who addressed protecting the building's foundation. Both Warren and his crew were very professional. They arrived on time, and everything went as scheduled. My garage was not a big job, only 400 square feet, yet Warren communicated throughout the process. There were no surprises. As I hoped, the floor sloped very slightly downward to the outside. Also, as requested, the final floor was very smooth and ready for polishing/sealing. See before and after pics for comparison. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. Their workmanship and attention to detail are very impressive. I highly recommend Perkins Concrete and would hire them again.

I have had a complex project and Perkins Concrete responded to my online inquires a few weeks ago. Warren came out to my house and really helped me get back on track. He picked up on what was creating a roadblock for me and provided some quick eduction/direction to help me move the project along. I couldn't hire him at the time because I needed other services he recommend first. :( I just happened to have a rental property with an upcoming concrete project. When it was time, I remembered Warren taking the time with me. I already knew I wanted to hire him but I didn't have the whole thing laid out yet. I contacted him a week ago and asked him to look at the second project. He was booked but made time on a Sunday morning! I explained what I wanted, he explained how he could make it work. He helped created the design and we are moving forward. The pre-sale service and responsiveness has been outstanding! Although the first project is still not ready for concrete, I was grateful to be able to reach out and hire Perkins for the other. I should wait for completion, but I was just so impressed with the estimate process I wanted to post a review.

Professional from the start. Communication as expected. According to the shed installers it was the most exact to spec slab they have ever installed a shed on.

We had 2 jobs done. (two different contracts.) The first job was removing an old concrete pad, hauling off the old material and then framing and pouring a new pad. Looks great!!! The second was a concrete landscape paver retaining wall, and again they came as expected, did the work, behaved appropriately while on the job and left the place in perfect shape. Would definitely use again and recommend highly. Prices seemed fair. :)

Perfect! They were on time and professional.

We hired Perkins Concrete to remove our existing driveway that had developed a few large cracks and install a new enlarged driveway. Upon removing the old driveway, they discovered we had a hole in the ground. We were very concerned about it being a sinkhole, but Warren came out a couple of times in-between all the rain we were getting and determined it was a hole that was used as a dump from previous construction. Rather than having us inconvenienced trying to find an excavator to dig it all out, he offered to do it himself. We really appreciated that. After many days of delay due to rain, he had it dug out and filled back in. Through all the weather delays and the issue with the hole in the ground, Celeste continually kept us informed of the progress (and we really appreciated that as well). Again, after more weather delays they were finally able to pour the concrete. Warren had extra horizontal relief joints cut and a vertical cut to help extend the life of our driveway. Now, after having used it for a few days we can say that we love our new driveway! We are very pleased with Perkins Concrete. From the initial phone conversation with Celeste to the exceptional, personal service provide by Warren Perkins, we feel we made the correct decision to hire Perkins Concrete for our project. We highly recommend Perkins Concrete.

Very happy with the work performed which was a large driveway and parking pad plus a winding walkway. When they formed the driveway and walkway I asked for some changes and they were done with no questions asked. It has been over a year but so far no cracks or issues. Very pleased.

All the folks at Perkins were responsive and professional! I got a call right back and and estimate done that day, and they were flexible on scheduling the job when I could be there (as an out of state landlord, they accommodated my schedule). They were also cheaper than two other estimates that I had gotten. Because the old walkway was damaged and broken by tree roots, I had to get the roots removed first, before they could remove the old walk and install the new one. It was a 3 day process: demo/remove the old walk, then another team sets up the form, then the third day they pour the concrete and clean up. They kept me informed all along the way, and even moved me up on their schedule at the last minute upon my request.

Overall performance on the project was excellent. Quality work all around. People were responsive, professional and performed as they promised. Pleasure doing business with the company. Would highly recommend and would use again.

We love Perkins Concrete. When we first moved into our house a few years back we had a "quickie" pavers project we used them for (pretty straightforward, just a big rectangle). Now that we figured out our plan for the backyard we were ready to add on...3 years later! Perkins' team was great. We were able to do a spot on match for our older pavers and the paver rep gave some good tips on how to make the old and new match almost exactly despite the time lapse. The guys came in and (hand) dug a huge area over the course of 2 days and then the paver team came in and in ONE day laid the pavers, cut them to fit the rounded shape we decided to go with AND sanded them. We weer blown away how fast they got it done. And fast did not mean sloppy. Quite the contrary. The pavers are perfect and we couldn't be happier. Any time during the process we had questions we were able to reach out to Warren or his staff and get immediate feedback and answers to all of our questions. The pavers themselves took a bit of time to deliver, but that was due to manufacturing demand, nothing to do with Perkins' team. We're already looking to our next project with them as soon as budget permits.

The job went flawless. I needed to install a drain from the top of driveway to bottom of street, the guys actually removed the old cement and waited for me to install the drain prior to actually forming out the driveway and pouring new concrete. What the owner said the driveway was going to cost, it cost the exact amount. They were very prompt, extremely neat and the workers were professional and did outstanding work.

Everything was done well at a fair price

From the moment I contacted Perkins for the estimate to the time I decided to hire them to install the two concrete pads, I have been extremely satisfied. I had three estimates completed and Perkins Concrete was the most responsive for all the many questions I had, not only during the estimate, but during the entire process (believe me I am overly cautious). The work was performed as promised on their estimate, and when I had questions, the owner called my personally to ease my mind. My original plan was to put tile work over the concrete slab, but, they did such a fabulous job I am leaving the slab as is and saving myself the expense of the additional $1500 dollars. The communication was extremely important to me as I work and had to be confident that the process would go well without me being at the house. Ralph who completed my estimate was there to answer my questions not only at the time of the estimate, but, even when I was still in the decision making period. In fact, he came up with an idea for the area near the front fence that was better than I could hope for to ensure that no one will trip when entering the yard from that gate. Warren, the owner, communicated with me throughout the entire process, and his assistant Celeste helped ensure all the necessary paperwork and permits were retrieved in a timely manner. I had one snag during the process when the guys completing the work had questions about where to place the ramp and Warren assured my that everything would be fine. The job was done completely to my satisfaction and I will most definitely be hiring them again in the future when its time to re-do my driveway. Thank you so much Perkins Concrete!! I am an architect and did this project for myself so I was very focused on the quality of construction and Perkins even surprised me with how well they executed the detailing on my work. I bid three of the best rated concrete companies on Angie's List and Perkins was the low bidder, had a great onsite meeting, and needed up doing a great job.
