"Richard was excellent fixing stucco issues and painting the exterior of my home. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and very respectful. He had the jib done in minimal time and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Would recommend him to anyone looking to get their home painted or need stucco repairs."

"If you need Stucco Repair and painting , this is who you want to hire. My Home looks better than it did when I bought it new construction. Beni explained the whole process and helped me selecting the paint . I love the quality of the paint he used . My stucco was cracked and needed to be fixed . Beni pressure washed the house , repaired the stucco and then painted it. Beni is very accurate and delivers high quality work â ¦ I would give him 10 stars if I could !!!"

"Aguilar did the BEST JOB. They were timely, professional, and neat in their work. They went above and beyond repairing some stucco at no charge that they noticed needed a repair, but had not been included in the original project. They also did a great job matching the texture of the original stucco and didn't leave a mess behind. I would hire them again and again and probably will. I learned they do others things such as concrete, roofing, etc. You won't regret hiring them."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

To repair damaged exterior stucco, you’ll first remove all loose and crumbling material from the damaged area. You then need to thoroughly clean the area and dampen it to ensure proper bonding. After that, you’ll apply a bonding agent to the repair area, then apply new stucco in layers, allowing for curing time between each layer. The final coat should be textured to match the surrounding stucco pattern as closely as possible. Once fully cured, the repaired area can be painted to match the rest of the wall if needed.

The best tape that works on stucco is the kind made explicitly for stucco surfaces. Look for tape that specifies stucco, masonry, or cement installations. The adhesive usually needs to be thicker and more durable to remain stuck to these rough surfaces.

The cost of a repair depends on several factors, including the severity, complexity, and type of damage. Other key elements are the cost of any necessary replacement parts, hardware, materials, or required software updates. Labor rates and whether emergency service is needed will also influence the final price.

You can use small bits that are up to 3/8 inch in diameter, or larger bits that are 1/2 inch or more in diameter. Make sure the bits you use are coated with carbide or diamond; this information is usually visible on the package. You can also use hole saw bits to drill into stucco.

All of the components of stucco are non-combustible, so the siding material won’t ignite or spread fire to the interior of your home. However, it also expands and contracts with changes in temperature, so it will crack from long exposure to heat. Eventually, fire will spread through those cracks. Still, stucco is one of the best siding materials for fire protection and can keep you and your family safe for an hour, on average.
