"Courtesy Electric re-wired our large 1940's house to bring it up to current codes, and we could not be more satisfied with their work. After experience very shoddy work by two other electric companies, I found Courtesy Electric and I will never hire any other company, but Courtesy Electric. They are highly professional and completed the re-wiring to the standards that I had hoped would be the result. Previous work that Courtesy Electric provided us was to undo the work of another electric company that had incorrectly wired some of our breakers. I highly recommend Courtesy Electric for any electrical work."

"Absolute AMAZING service! My electricity was out when I arrived home after work at Midnight and the breaker box was hot..I requested quotes online because it is midnight and thought I would have to deal until morning but my phone rang and Jon was willing to come out then because I had no electricity...it ended up being the cable wire attached to my home but he waited 3 hours for LCEC to arrive to make sure my electricity was back on and working!! The major difference between a GFCI breaker and an AFCI breaker is that a GFCI breaker protects against fatal shocks while an AFCI breaker prevent electrical fires. A GFCI breaker senses when the electrical current to ground is overloaded and trips to prevent major accidents or injuries. AFCI breakers trip when it detects dangerous electrical arcing.

You should never unplug or touch a buzzing outlet. If there are appliances plugged in that are causing the buzzing, wait until the appliance is turned off (or turn it off yourself) and then unplug it from the outlet. Test the outlet by plugging in something that won’t use much power—a small lamp works well. If the outlet still buzzes, have a pro investigate why.
