This story goes back a few months but I want you to have the complete context. Back in March 2022, I contacted SW Florida Electric to service the Briggs and Stratton generator at our home. The generator was installed well before we bought the house so I cannot comment on how it was serviced in the past. The technician came and gave the unit a clean bill of health but said he could not touch the regulator because that wasn't his job. He also suggested that we sign a three year service agreement because it would save us money. That made sense at the time given that the generator was important and I wanted to ensure it was looked after correctly. Fast forward to September and the arrival of Hurricane Ian. The generator failed after four hours leaving us without power for 3.5 days. When they came out to look at the unit about a week after the storm, I was told the unit was not worth fixing and they would send me a quote for replacing it. Strange that it was fine back in March when they took a $1,500 service contract for it but then when it failed to work, it was not worth fixing. They did provide a quote to replace it that was thousands of dollars more than competitive quotes. I wrote to them asking them to cancel the service contract. Nothing. No acknowledgement. Just crickets. I don't normally write bad reviews but these guys have stretched my patience. It's pretty simple really. I don't need a service contract for a generator that they say is not worth fixing so please refund my money.

It was excellent. They were on time, good communication, reasonable price, knowledgeable, friendly service.

It couldn't have been better. Jaron's quote was thorough & the installation was flawless. Messaging or calls to the office were handled well with Tobi & others supplying answers in a timely manner. Jeremy & Reine took care of the install.

We will use them in the future and we will also recommend them.

Harold quickly did the troubleshooting and identified the problem. He clearly explained the problem and had theparts to fix it.

Harold was prompt and professional.  He diagnosed the problem and did everything he could to try to avoid having to add the new circuit so he could save us money.  The original wiring was too much for the current circuit breaker, so he had to add the circuit.  Harold had to crawl around in our attic to get this job done, and he did so efficiently with minimum mess.  Any mess there was, he cleaned up.  We will definitely call this company again, and will request Harold as our technician!

Harold was on time and friendly. Luckily our wire wasn't damaged so no more needed to be done.

I needed to add electrical outlets on the exterior and interior electrical outlets for my home. I called SWFL Electric and they worked with my hectic schedule and were on time, clean and courteous. Great company and the price was less than what I had estimated.

This company did a great job! They arrived promptly at the time promised and even called 15 minutes before arriving. They worked quickly and got the job done In no time flat. I would have no problem referring this company to anyone needing electrical work. I will be using them again in the future.

Harold was punctual, extremely polite, and just a pleasure to work with......He was so quick, I have never seen anyone remove a light fixture, completely assemble a fan and professionally install it then Harold. From the beginning to the end of the project, the communication and exchange of detail was excellent.  Also, their flexibility to meet my schedule was also superb.  The technicians who came out on site were also just as communicative and helpful as well as being true professionals in their areas of expertise.  The job went as smoothly as it could go.

The experience of working with this company was amazing.  The first interaction came in less than 24 hours from their office by a woman named Jessica.  We connected via the phone, I told her the situation and she was very knowledgeable and able to let me know that the technician would look at the situation and provide all possible alternatives.  She quoted me the rates based on time and material, because there was no way to estimate the job.
The technician, Brence, showed up right on time.  He surveyed the situation, provided me three alternatives (pros/cons) of each and talked me through what it would take to do the job in each scenario.  He was professional, respectful and very pleasant to work with on this project.
The project was completed in a little less than 2 hour (another company had taken over 3 hours to do a cable drop in a very easy space).  The work space was completely clean, when he left you could not tell that anyone had done work in the house.  He reviewed the invoice with me, asked if I had any questions, took his time.
This was a great experience and I would absolutely use this company again and recommend them to others.
