"Juan and Anthony did a remarkable job with prepping our house and shed to be painted. The paint job is fabulous and we couldn’t be happier with it. They were such a joy to work with. They were great with my hubby being out there watching and asking questions. We will certainly refer anyone we know who needs their home painted. Juan is a true professional and a down right good man and his son Anthony is remarkable young man with a work ethnic that most adults, could you learn from. We have made plans to do things together outside of this job , as friends. Thank you very much for the wonderful job you did for us. We are truly grateful for all your hard work. God bless this family."

"I went on Angi’s list and asked for a couple of painters to call me regarding some painting I needed done. This company called me almost immediately. I spoke to Amzard, the owner, and he was very nice and we made arrangements to meet. He was right on time, looked at what needed to be done and very quickly sent us his proposal. It was very fair and he got the job done quickly. We had a living room, dining room, hallway, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms and the laundry room painted. He did it quickly and efficiently and did a great job. We are actually having him come back to do some more trim work that we need done and to repair the ceiling in the laundry room. He was very responsible and reliable, cleaned up after himself and did a great job. I fully recommend him and plan on using this company in the future."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

A wood deck requires annual cleaning and regular inspections for loose or broken boards, nails, and screws. It should be refinished by applying a stain or sealer every two to three years to protect the wood from water damage, rot, mildew, and sun fading. The exact frequency can depend on the climate and the deck's exposure to sun and moisture. If your deck is painted, it will need repainting approximately every 10 years. Signs that your deck needs refinishing include faded, splintering, or warping boards.

Whether to paint or stain a deck depends on your personal preference for appearance and budget. Stain provides a natural look with a range of undertones, is typically less expensive, and may only require one coat, but it does not last as long as paint. Paint offers a sleeker finish with a virtually unlimited color palette. Both options will protect your deck from outdoor elements like rain, snow, and general wear and tear.

Choosing whether your deck should be lighter or darker than your house is a matter of personal preference, as there is no right or wrong answer. However, considering the pros and cons of each can help guide your decision. Darker colors are often chosen because they show less dirt, footprints, and marks from daily wear, making them easier to keep clean. On the other hand, lighter deck colors tend to stay cooler in the summer. From a design perspective, using a deck color that contrasts with your home's exterior can help make the deck a more defined and distinct feature. Consulting color theory can also make the process of choosing a complementary house and deck color combination easier.

Various kinds of substances and deck preservatives act as protective coatings for wood to prevent rot, which is caused by water getting into the wood and creating cracks and splits. Stains, paints, and sealants are the three best options to protect your wood, but there are also oils, varnishes, and waxes available. You’ll need to reapply sealant at least once per year, and you should inspect your wood deck regularly to look for signs of damage or general wear and tear.

You’ll need to wait until the surface is completely dry, which can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours under optimal conditions. The waiting period depends on several factors, including the type of siding and the weather conditions. Trying to paint before the surface is completely dry can trap moisture under the paint, leading to bubbling, blistering, and mold growth.
