I had another company come out to offer a bid. The other company was a national company with company car all covered with stickers while Sturdy Soil was local. The national company with a salesman who hung around for a couple hours finding a bunch of things that needed done and cost a ridiculous amount. Sturdy Soil doesnt have corporate offices, corporate salesman and got on the job within a couple days and finished quickly. I was amazed by the difference and saved thousands of dollars. We had asked to level the driveway and front steps along with a small patch of bricks that connected the two. The edges of the bricks and concrete did not end up level with one another and the masonry cracked. We ended up having a mason come out to fix the bricked area. We were told that, for what we paid, we could have just had a new driveway poured."
