"The outlet that was installed behind the flat screen tv was accidentally (without my knowledge or request) connected to a light switch. This error was not discovered immediately and only after extended periods of cable and television issues did I learn about it. Meanwhile the accent lights were connected to the same switch as all of the existing adjacent ceiling lights (although the electrician and I specifically discussed the need to be able to control them separately for the purpose of "accentuating" the art without the spotlights being diffused by the existing ceiling lights. In my rush to leave town for a scheduled trip, I didn't double check the work but when I returned, I contacted the company and explained the problems. The original electrician was no longer employed by Bolt but multiple others came to my home, acknowledged the issues and agreed to make them "right". I was also told there would be no additional charge to fix these errors. They couldn't figure out how to properly disconnect the light switch from the tv so I agreed they could tie off the wires behind switch plate and essentially make a "dummy switch". With the tv issue "fixed the best they could" and with the commitment made to now fix the accent light problem, I moved forward with the installation of the fans and was rightfully charged a fair amount for this "incremental" work. But once I paid for the fan installation I was told that the accent light issue would not be corrected... unless I paid additional money and the once-friendly work team just walked away. They told me the owner would call but he didn't. I left multiple messages and finally was told that the owner (Patrick) was aware of my issue but had stated that I received accent lights according to their documents and he would not be calling me back. The company denied that I had any conversation about separate switches for the accent lights (even though its own electricians agreed the work was done improperly) and pretty much told me to pound sand. It would have been nice (not to mention appropriate) for the owner to at least return my call. I won't do business with Bolt again."
