As a real estate investor and home renovator, I am always searching for high integrity and high quality contractors. I called them for an estimate, received estimate and told them to do the job. All by text and in writing. They never followed up. Some time went by and I called them back to see what was going on. They said the prices went up and they could no longer honor the price they quoted even though they dropped the ball and never scheduled the job. Spoke with Pete twice to renegotiate the price and move forward. Has avoided me and put me in a position to have to hire someone else at an even higher rate. It's was all in writing. Not who I would trust to reach an amicable resolution if something goes wrong.

"Dear Keith, Unfortunately, the type of material required to do your job is something that is not available any longer since your home is 35 years old. We attempted to locate it but it is not manufactured any longer. We did not ever do work for you. We tried very hard to accommodate your request to find this discontinued material but could not find it. Very unusual to give a company a low rating that did not perform work at your home but tried to help you locate a discontinued product. I guess no good deed goes unpunished. We are the NO 1 rated company in SWFL due to our high-quality work and experience and we will always continue to provide the best service. We wish you the best in locating your discontinued materials. Thank you, Pete Phillips Owner."

Peter and John were very personable and informative. They worked with the roofing company by taking down the old gutters before the roofers came and stated they would come back as soon as roof was on and install new gutters and down spouts. I will give more info as soon as all is complete.
