"Rico was great. He came out the same day I spoke with him. Friendly, courteous and really knows what he's doing. If my drain ever gets clogged again, I would call him again. "⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service from Technician Q28 – Wilson Carabello I had another outstanding experience with ABC Plumbing Sewer Heating Cooling and Electric thanks to technician Q28 – Wilson Carabello. His professionalism, honesty, and clear communication truly set him apart. During his inspection, Wilson discovered that the furnace — which was installed by a different company — was missing a drip leg, something that should have been included during the original installation. He explained the issue thoroughly and recommended reaching out to the company that installed the furnace so they can correct their oversight. Wilson also reviewed the hot water heater installed by ABC and noted that it will require a plumber to return to install a drip leg. I really appreciated how transparent he was about what ABC handled and what was the responsibility of the previous installer. His integrity and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in the assessment."

"VERY knowledgeable, polite, reasonable, and quick to respond!!! I called to inquire one day. He came that same afternoon to inspect and quote a price. By 11am the next day, I had a new water heater and toilet installed and working perfectly for almost half the 'estimated' price that another guy was going to charge! He even did a repair job under the house at no extra charge. I would recommend Jimmy(the owner] to ANY & ALL!!!"

"Searching for a reliable company to install a new AC for my son. Blue Bear was one of many to contact me. Spoke directly with the owner Mike. With a newborn and hot humid days this needed to be done. Because of the need to get this done Mike requested a couple pictures and gave us a reasonable estimate and the ability to do it the next morning. He held study with his pricing. Crew sent and they did an excellent clean job. Communication, work and price never wavered. So far the experience has been top notch with customer service being a priority. Thanks again."

"Very smooth process the company responded quickly and did camera inspection and showed me all the footage so I could understand what was going on with my drainage system and the condition of my drains and they gave me a great deal on the toilet install as well as a package deal. Thank you!"

"

Our well pump started losing pressure which resulted in very low water pressure in our home. Wesley arrived on time. After explaining the problem (which has occurred in the past) Wesley went to work. He cleaned out debris that was blocking a line from the well to the water softener system. The pressure from the well was still low (about 30PSI).  He replaced the pressure gauge where the well line connected to the water softener system. To check to see if there might be blockage in the line from well to the water softener system he placed pressure gauge on the overflow from the well. The pressure there was also only about 30PSI, it should be around 60PSI.

Wesley determined we probably needed to replace the well pump. The debris that was blocking the water softener system was probably from the impeller wheels in the pump which were disintegrating. He said he would be glad to replace the pump to first check with the company that installed the well pump to see if it was still under warranty. The pump was still under warranty and the company that installed the well pump replaced it the next day.

I highly recommend Wesley and Bay Area Pump and Well. Wesley is very honest and very knowledgeable about wells and pumps. He gives good advice and is very thorough in checking all possibilities before making a recommendation. He is also very reasonably priced.

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

A screen door needs at least two hinges, though most have three or four hinges. The amount of hinges depends on the weight and size of the door. The heavier your door, the more hinges it will need for support. Exterior doors, which are sturdier than interior doors, have the most hinges.

Storm doors last about 25 years, although high-quality and well-maintained storm doors could last up to 50 years. The type of storm door can impact lifespan, so be sure to consider the durability of different frame materials and glass types before making a purchase. Also, keep in mind that while storm doors can typically mitigate the impact of strong winds and harsh weather, repeated exposure to storms can wear down the door and shorten its lifespan.

The difference between a right-hand and left-hand storm door is where the handle is located. When looking at the door from the outside of your home, a right-hand storm door will have the handle on the right-hand side, while a left-hand storm door will have the handle on the left. Your storm door handle will be on the same side as your front door handle.

There are several types of storm doors, including vinyl-clad, steel-clad, aluminum, and wood-core, and each type has its own benefits. For example, vinyl-clad storm doors are excellent at keeping out water, while steel-clad storm doors hold up well against high winds. There are also multiple styles of storm doors, ranging from full-view (made entirely of glass) to high-view (with just a small glass panel).

Installation begins with removing existing doors if necessary, measuring, and accurately fitting the storm door frame and panel for a tight seal.
