"It went well beyond my expectations. We went with pavers rather than concrete. Joe gave us a good estimate. He stuck to the budget and the timeline. The work Joe did for us is a work of art. Beautiful. Pavers cost more than concrete but worth every penny."

Customers say: Quality work

"I like many Floridians had damage from hurricane Irma. After much research I found Low Cost Concrete and contracted with them to do the work. Terrance and his team were/are skilled, professional, and friendly. I recommend them and I have. The job began in December for 2 days and final deck coating completed after my pool screen work was completed."

"We are very pleased with the work Roman and his son did at our home. They did a beautiful job repairing a wall that had termite damage, replacing missing drywall, and texturing and painting the drywall. They were courteous, professional and very talented. They arrived on time and were fast. We would definitely hire them again."

"Excellent company and work crew. Rob was a great informative sales representative. Chris & Tom did an amazing job leveling and lifting out patio slabs. This really saved us over $20,000 from having to tear off our screen room and start all over from scratch! Took 4 hours to complete the process and was well worth the money. We highly recommend this company."
The homeowner's driveway had endured years of wear and tear, resulting in discoloration and numerous cracks across the surface. Additionally, the concrete slabs had become uneven due to the soil settling beneath them.
Due to soil settlement and poorly placed control joints, the customer's driveway had significant cracking. You can see that some stains have formed, indicating that the concrete lacks sealant protection.
The homeowner knew that their home's addition had experienced settlement damage when vertical cracks appeared on the exterior walls.
The homeowner became alarmed when they noticed stair-step cracking patterns emerging from the window frame in the exterior wall of the home.
Upon noticing significant cracks developing in the walls, the homeowner became concerned about their foundation's condition.

"Alpha Foundations came out to my residence to raise/fill in the foundation on my front porch, back porch and cement decking around my pool. Dylan and Tory were very professional, as was Jake, who came out to do my estimate. They did their job efficiently and quickly. They also made sure to clean up after themselves. They answered any and all of my questions and went over all that they had done with me when they were done. I highly recommend them."

Small jobs welcome

"Excellent stucco work by Knoe, the primary stucco worker. Got to job and stayed till complete. Must wait about 2weeks to apply Sherwin Williams Loxon primer/sealer after stucco application.. Returned in 2 weeks and job completed. Stucco work is very messy so critical that plastic covering over all brick and masonry areas. This needs to be re-evaluated every morning and reapplied as needed. This was their only shortcoming, but they did return and were able to remove the spots. One of the nicest companies Iâ ve worked with, from laborers to salesman and even ownership. Thoroughly happy with job and was happy to pay when completed! Neil F South Tampa, Fl"

"They showed up on time, were pleasant to work with and understood what I wanted done. I had my front porch fixed and resealed. Looks great, the color of the bricks are more vibrant and I am very pleased with the outcome."

Masonry questions, answered by experts

In Riverview, warning signs that masonry work may need to be redone include persistent efflorescence, crumbling mortar, or visible mold—often caused by high humidity and poor drainage. Structural red flags are stair-step cracks, bulging walls, or shifting at corners, which can result from the area’s sandy soils. Discoloration, uneven joints, or missing weep holes also signal underlying issues needing prompt attention.

Helpful?

In Riverview, common mistakes with masonry work include neglecting proper site drainage, which leads to water pooling and damage, and using materials unsuited for Florida’s humidity and salt air. Starting projects during the rainy season can disrupt curing. Other frequent errors are skipping reinforcement for hurricane resistance, failing to account for sandy soils, and using incorrect mortar mixes, all of which impact long-term durability.

Helpful?

In Riverview, homeowners are embracing masonry work that blends Mediterranean and Spanish Revival influences with practical outdoor living spaces. Popular trends include natural stone retaining walls, brick walkways, and custom fire pits designed for year-round use. Light-hued pavers help manage heat, while permeable surfaces and hurricane-resistant masonry techniques offer durability against Florida’s storms and heavy rainfall, ensuring both beauty and resilience.

Helpful?

For Riverview homeowners, a strong seasonal inspection routine for masonry work starts in early spring by checking mortar joints, especially before hurricane season. After major storms, inspect for new cracks, loose bricks, or signs of water intrusion. During the wet season, watch for efflorescence and algae growth. In drier months, clean surfaces and reseal as needed to protect against humidity and salt exposure unique to FL’s climate.

Helpful?

After masonry work in Riverview, keep surfaces moist for proper curing, especially during hot, dry spells. Remove excess mortar promptly and inspect for early signs of settling or cracking each season. Clean off salt deposits and organic debris to prevent staining. Reseal surfaces every few years, and schedule annual checks before hurricane season to ensure your masonry remains resilient and meets local community standards.
