"We hired Empire Today to install hardwood flooring for our 3 bedrooms, hallway, and stairs. The installers were wonderful and did a beautiful job. However everything else was a NIGHTMARE!!! Customer Service was terrible as there was ZERO communication on what was going on. We were told by our salesman that we would have a 7 man crew for the installation and that never happened. They started on a Tuesday and finished our Master Bedroom. On Wednesday and Thursday nobody showed up or bothered to call us. We had to constantly call them on what is going on. Finally they came on Friday to finish the other 2 bedrooms and the hallway. They said they would be back on Saturday to finish the job. After one excuse after another they came back on the following Wednesday to install our stairs. Then they had to come back the next day which happened to be Thanksgiving to finish our job. The installer did not have the quarter rounds to finish our job so we had to do whatever it took to get them to get the quarter rounds so the job could be finished. The Supervisor for this job was terrible and gave us one excuse after another. The Supervisor should have done the final walk through but never did. The customer service was very unprofessional and left a bad taste in our mouths. Plus they made us pay in full with our credit card before they would start our installation which upset us to no end, We would not recommend using Empire Today as it is not worth the agony they put you through. Their word could never be trusted to be true. I think Empire Today should change their name to Empire who knows when???? It was a NIGHTMARE dealing with the Salesman, Supervisor, & Customer Service of Empire Today and for the money we spent we deserved much better than what we received. It is a shame as the workers did a beautiful job of installing our hardwood flooring!!!"
