H&H Construction and Restoration Services, Inc. is a family owned business since 2008. We have skilled employees on staff while specialty services are sub contracted to contractors we have used for many years and have built relationships with to achieve our quality standards.

"It was very pleasant. They were very professional and friendly. The ideas that they came out were better than mine. I would recommend them. Their cost was less for the quality of work that they have. They have good quality of work."

30 years of experience

Parker Brothers Roofing & Construction, Inc. has been servicing Tallahassee and the surrounding counties for more than 20 years. We have our own employees to complete your project and work closely with local lending institutions to provide you the most competitive financing rates available at the time of purchase. Additional email - [email protected].

"Not Good at all. Start to finish over 30 days, crew was sub-standard, left yard in a mess with nails and debris all over the place (still finding nails), they damages gutters and covered up Metal Flashing with a 2/4 boards. Shingled over rotten plywood instead of replacing it (yes, they were called back to redo). Terrible Craftsmanship!"

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

Home insurance covers roof replacement if the roof is damaged due to a covered peril, such as a falling tree branch or storm damage. It won’t cover roof replacement due to normal wear and tear or lack of maintenance.

Your tile roof's life expectancy ranges from 40 years to over 100, depending on which type you have and how well you maintain it by keeping it clean and free of debris. Clay, terracotta, and slate roofs often exceed the 100-year mark, while metal and composite versions can last over 50 years.

No, a chimney crown is not the same as a chimney cap. A chimney crown is a flat cement area on top of a masonry chimney. It starts where the masonry part of the chimney ends at the very top and domes upward toward the flue opening. A chimney cap sits on top of the crown over the flue. It is usually made of metal and allows smoke to escape without letting in rainwater.

Fall is considered the best time of year to fix a roof because temperatures are moderate, and the weather is drier, making repairs safer. Summer can also be a good option, but extreme heat can make shingles too soft and difficult to work with. Spring is a popular time for repairs following damage from winter storms, but frequent rainfall can slow down progress.

You shouldn’t put a new roof underlayment over an old one for a few reasons. Old felt must be removed in order to assess the condition of your roof decking, such as rotting wood or other structural issues. Also, if your roofer doesn't install a fresh layer of felt as is required by shingle manufacturers, your warranty may be voided. Finally, old underlayment removal is often included in the cost of roof repair or replacement, so there's no real benefit to leaving it on before installing a new layer.
