"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Steve is reliable, friendly, and hard working. After multiple bad experiences with contractors and subs it means a lot to have someone show up every time they say they will and communicate so well with you. Steve did drywall repair, painting, and woodwork repair (windows, interior doors, and exterior pillars) for us. A great contact to have for most jobs around your house. Thank you Steve!"

"Kyle was fantastic, to say the very least. Very reasonably priced too. He was professional and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. He put my mind at ease right from the start. I not only will HIGHLY recommend him to anyone I know, but will DEFINITELY be hiring him again. As a matter of fact, I already have him booked for another project. You cannot go wrong with this company and Kyle. Thanks again."

Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Typically every 10-15 years or whenever they show signs of wear and tear.

Screen doors have a positive ROI because of their safety features. They add protection from debris, critters, and, depending on the material, even heat. However, storm doors are better than screen doors when it comes to overall protection.

Most window screens last for about 10 to 12 years, assuming they are made from quality materials and receive proper care. The lifespan of common materials like fiberglass and aluminum can vary based on weather exposure, as constant sun or harsh winters can accelerate wear and tear. Regular cleaning and basic maintenance can help extend their life. Signs that a screen needs to be replaced include rips, tears, brittle or sagging material, fading, or a bent frame. While small tears can often be repaired, larger areas of damage typically mean it's time to replace the entire screen.

You can add any type of window to a brick house, so long as the window has proper support. Windows with wider openings and windows in brick walls will need a lintel to support the extra weight above the window frame. A lintel is a support beam that distributes the weight from above evenly around the window.

Many windows carry warranties from the manufacturer or installer that may cover the cost of repairs for a fixed amount of time. When installing or replacing windows, ask about any applicable warranties, what kinds of damage and repair they may cover, and what the procedure is for making a warranty claim.
